ive always thought hornsby was a bad station. i used to get off at chatswood most days to and from school and in the 4-5 years of catching a train i didnt see one bad thing

what station was that at?? if you get caught with any defect its 2 points on the spot. if cops believe its a defect they can give you a defect. its ALL up to them which sucks balls. i htink the RTA website has more info

my car is a piece of shit 1984 prelude and i could be defected for the following: 1) exhaust 2) wheels pop out of the car a bit 3) i have those shitty chrome pedals over my accelerator and brake (ill prob take em off) 4) and for my steering wheel thats a total of 8 points for a crappy car like mine anyway there is little you can do about it but its not the cops eho make the rules its those "smart" people in the government who know "everything" about cars and realise that "noone's" hobbys are car.......sarcasm not overused

i came in the shit box 1984 prelude. i dont think he got the guys details it did seem a bit rushed though, cause about 15 mins after i got there everyone left. as i was leaving there was a group of 5 cars leaving alone. i think i would have been better if everyone just followed one another.

i dunno if it was excuzmes car but someone rocked up with a car which had both doors on the right side smashed. some one came along and did a hit and run

I only stayed and thornleigh maccas for about 15 mins and went home. I just went to look at the cars, and i must say i was very impressed. I felt sorry for that guy who rocked up in his 180 or silvia, couldnt really see it, which had just suffered a hit a run with only 3rd party insurance.I wanted to drive around with u guys but the night before was kinda a HUGE night so i was feeling kind of tired :fart:

yeah my tyres grind into my car when i go over a bump cause they are too wide but ive heard people say that they have been defected for after market BOV, 18inch wheels, small steering wheels etc. and is there a actual list which shows you what is defected??? THX

I was just wondering why are defects such a problem. I mean if u have 17 inch mag wheels how is that dangerous?? I can understand how an exhaust and loud music can piss people off, but having a low car, mag wheels, bov etc, they are simply stupid restrictions. Also how can they take away points for defects?? Its not a driving offence, its a problem with the car. So when you go and get insurance and they ask you if you've lost any points on your licence and you say yes, for defects, they'll up the premium which sucks balls. Just my thoughts
