  1. spotted a nice dark blue or black ceffy going through caringbah lastnight, number plate ended in 81G i think looked tidy with a few mods, anyone from on here?
  2. on the topic.. anyone know the name of the glue thats used to stick side skirts etc on? or where to get some? ive looked in a few places and haven had any luck..
  3. thanks for the reply and help, i had no idea where to go, ill get up there tomorrow to see what they can do
  4. well today i was fixing a few things in the engine bay, when as usual i find something else wrong.. i noticed that the top centre nut on one of the coilovers is gone. i dont look under the bonnet that often and i dont know how long its been like this. i do think ive glanced at it like this before though but hadnt thought anything of it... the car still seems to drive fine, no bad wear but i would like this replaced/repaired.. what is the centre nut for? are they interchangeable between brands? where can i find another one? a suspension rebuilder?(if theres such buisnesses) the cars a nissan cefiro, so silvia suspension, and the suspension is adjustable coilovers, but brand is unknown as theres no labels or brand names on it.. sorry about the long post and thanks for the help, i dont have any pictures to show what nut it is
  5. i think double demerit points weekend could end up with alot of us in trouble, depending what the police have planned, every time ive been at the gong on a anzac day theres been a lot of defects handed out. maybe the next weekend, sunday the 1st of may?
  6. ill be in for whatever presuming i have no work on, my suggestion is the gong, about an hour from sydney, maybe head there or back through the national park(but some parts of the road are a bit rough), north shore sounds good too seen there seems to be a few people from that area im happy to go wherever though, id say about 2 hours would be my limit too.. and bbq sounds good
  7. you can count me in too... wouldnt mind seein a few cefs and meeting the people behind the nic's
  8. this might sound stupid but im not sure what brand suspension is in it, its caster camber and height adjustable, rb25's nice, just wanted a daily driver that can take some abuse(although it very rarely gets it), good to see another cef around, only ever seen yours twice and a stock looking blue one in sutherland once.
  9. just removed mine then only takes 5 minute, front doors: the rear screw is visible on the inside, the other 2 screws are under the wide horizontal rubber section of seal, just peel back the small section you need too to get a screw driver in there rear doors: theres only a screw on the front tag which is visible on the inside, just remove the screw and slide the shield forward gently and itll come straight off, hope that helps. now to get some auutosol
  10. i usuallly leave the keys in ignition with phone in plain view, but depends what people are around in the servo a little off topic, but does anyone leave there engine running while filling up due to their turbo timer or does everyone wait back for their car to cool down then fill up? i always wait a few minutes for it to cool down before starting..
  11. id like to keep mine on, but im missing the front left one so will take the rest off, havent worried about it too much but would look better with either all of them or none of them... i probabl should have the aircon canister regassed and refitted though, another for the very very long and growing to do list
  12. i was wondering the same thing because i plan on taking mine off as soon as i get time, i wasnt sure about how to get the tags at the back of the front door off as there between the black plastic strip that goes up next to the glass and the door frame. (from memory, could be wrong) does the black plastic strip need to come off first to get to the tag?
  13. rb25 with usual exhaust and pod 5 speed, lsd, adjustable suspension, bodykit, dont have any pics.. i think you might be a friends friend friend, (my friends went to watch matt with the blue corona) i dont think ill take my car back to oran park, not even just too watch unless they fix there entrance road, im surprised considering the cars that go through that they havent maintained it(although i know there planning on closing in the near future), last time i was there i tore my rear cradle and i was driving slower then everyone else.. the hard suspension sent the shock through to the cradle and tore it, you got plans for your car? i looked at yours at just jap before i got mine
  14. yeah that was me, i go to tafe down there, you were in a white cefiro? i only could see from the window line up. ive seen your car at the lagoon at wollongong, i think, thats presuming you were in the white cefiro that was for sale at just jap. And saw your car at oran park in the carpark about a month ago.
  15. one of the ceffies from kirrawee could have been mine, its been at my mechanics there a bit lately, white and fairly loud intake noise.. and seen a stock tidy blue cefiro around sutherland a couple of times. but not in the last month. cant wait too see another around, only seen the one anyway, hi:) (first post)
