  3. If you look on the Autometer site you'll see one of their gauge series is called Autogage, so perhaps some people are getting that confused with Autogauge, which appears to be a seperate company? Correct me if I'm wrong, this is just my opinion after a quick look on the net. So IMO Autometer, Autogage = USA Auto Gauge = Taiwan

  7. Sometimes when my car is cold the revs will kind've stick.. like idles at 1100rpm (i think, this is when its cold) then I reverse out my driveway and the revs wont go back to 1100rpm, stays close to 2k (no accelerator) then will sometimes drop back down to 1100rpm.. Would this be a similar thing? Thanks.

  16. In 1914, the Kwaishinsha Motorcar Works, established three years earlier, in Azabu-Hiroo District in Tokyo, built the first DAT. The new car's name being the acronym of the company's partners' surnames: * Kenjiro Den * Rokuro Aoyama * Meitaro Takeuchi The Works was renamed to Kwaishinsha Motorcar Co. in 1918, and again, in 1925, to DAT Motorcar Co. The next year, the Tokyo-based company merged with the Osaka-based Jitsuyo Jidosha Co., Ltd. (established 1919) as DAT Automobile Manufacturing Co. Ltd. in Osaka until 1932. In 1931, the first DATSON—meaning "Son of DAT"—was produced. However, the last syllable was changed to "sun", because "son" also means "loss" in Japanese, hence the name "Datsun". In 1933, the company name was Nipponized to Jidosha-Seizo Co. Ltd. ("Automobile Manufacturing Co. Ltd.") and moved to Yokohama. In 1934, Jidosha-Seizo merged with a fellow Japanese automanufacturer named Nihon Sangyo Co. Ltd. ("Japan Industry Co. Ltd.") who was popularly known as "Ni-San." The company became Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. on June 1, 1934, and was founded by Yoshisuke Aikawa. Thanks Google R32 60th Anniversary editions exist (see attachments). The 40th anniversary edition R33 models made in 1998 are probably to celebrate the 40th anniversary of skylines (not Nissan itself).

  18. So for these cars the seats are 100% interchangeable? You can just unbolt the standard seats and replace them with seats from one of these other cars without any modification? Straight bolt-in?
  19. I picked up some Castrol grease today (had NFI which one to buy ) because my passeneger door has been creaking lately. I've never done it before, anyone got some tips on how to do it? Do I just put it on the contact surfaces and swing the door back and forth a few times to spread it around? Should I wipe it down first to get off any old grease that might be there (on the container says something about not mixing different greases or something).. thanks /n00bness
