  1. You can look this type of stuff up at http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/nissan/skyline/ 1993 R33 GTS25 LSD Optional 1993 R33 GTS25 Type S LSD Standard 1993 R33 GTS-4 LSD Standard Obviously if it was only optional on the model you're looking at and not standard then you will still have to check if it has one fitted or not.
  2. Location? Pics? Colour?
  3. Here you go ellie, lowered with frontbar cut for FMIC.
  4. Mate if you were after a S1 I'd say around $10k mark but since you're after a S2 (96+) add a few thousand extra.
  5. Yes AFAIK they are a straight fit. I've seen a few R33 GTSTs with R32 GTR rims including series2 (not that it matters).
  6. Hey everyone, just started playing GT4 recently. I just want to know what cars to look out for and what cars people here have bought. I got the R32 GTR N1 cause I think it looks the best with the extra vents on the front bar. Are all the N1 versions white? I bought an R32 GTS-T Type M because I thought it was a special colour (kinda a purply blue) but I think it's just meant to be the factory midnight blue colour. Also got the R33 V-spec LM edition cause it's a non-factory blue colour (Champion Blue). Have raced against a Sil-Eighty but havent come across it for sale yet. Saw a 260RS for sale but didn't buy it and haven't come across it again yet. I want to get a WRX but I can't decide cause there's so many different versions. Help please?? lol There's a R34 GTR for sale in Midnight Purple II colour (if you buy it from Nissan Dealer it's MPIII). Looks to have an additional gold and blue pearl through it?? What cars have you bought which you think are worth looking out for? I had a quick look at a car list for GT4 on the net earlier and saw an R32 GTS-4 and a Cefiro, are these cars in the game? Also what wheels do you guys like putting on your cars? I've got some black Nismo rims on my N1 R32 GTR and some goldy colour Nismo rims on my R32 GTST. Is there anything the R34 GTR rims look good on in this game?
  7. I was bored so I thought I'd lower the pic of your car with no wing in photoshop. Second pic is same lowered height but with 18" Volk CE28N wheels.
  8. Volk Racing CE28N
  9. What would McGuyver use? lol
  10. Mine is a Meguiars synthetic chamois. Cost $13 from super cheap.
  11. Um.. I use a chamois.
  12. I've always heard $200 for non-members and even cheaper for members.
  13. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...hl=oil+pressure Just get the car checked out by NRMA (or other equivalent where you are) or take it to your mechanic. "was a hot bitch before we got there, like they'd taken it for a run before id come out or another test flight?" I would be concerned that they might have warmed it up before you got there, however it could of course be totally innocent reason for why the car has been run recently. Typically though I think oil pressure is higher when engine is cold (thicker?). At idle it will be quite low I think around 1/4 maybe and pressure increases with revs. If it just sits around 1/4 all the time sounds like something is wrong, but doesn't neccessarily mean problem with the engine could just problem with oil pressure sender. Again, you can put your mind at ease by getting the car checked out before you buy it! Good luck, hope you get a nice one after being so patient looking for one.
  14. My R33 has stock radio with FM expander fitted (hooked up to a switch). Some stations can be picked up with or without the expander on but others can only be picked up with the expander switched on (this is why I didnt know what the switch did at first because it would not alter the reception of the station I usually listen to when it was switched on/off). Mine are 20 lower I think, i.e. if station is normally 100.9 it is 80.9 on car radio.
  15. BUMP- My car does this too! I usually have it set to 18 which is cold but if I change it to 19 or higher it immediately starts blowing warm air through.
  16. Hey guys, I'm interested in buying a black R32 GTS-T that is for sale in Port Macquarie. Carsales ad If anyone knows anything about this car could you please let me know, or if anyone would be interested in having a look at the car for me just to give me an idea of if it would be worth me travelling down there to check it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  17. Here's pics of 2 40th anniversary R33s, neither of which have a special bodykit.
  18. You're in luck! Came across this whilst looking for skylines on carsales..
  19. Well out of those choices I'd pay the extra money and get the Teins which are brand new and have a warranty etc etc.. Personally I'd find a used set of Teins for $700 like my mate did.. they work fine.. worst comes to worse you can get them rebuilt by Fulcrum.. still costing less than brand new ones I would imagine. BTW How do you know for sure the HKS ones have only done 5000kms? Also you say you need to get them freighted so I imagine you don't live nearby. Personally I would rather get to check them out in person before I bought used suspension. If you can afford it though you should buy the new suspension rather than taking the risk with the cheaper used suspension. My 2c.
  20. Even though it's auto, $9k for an immaculate R32 is a good price IMO.
  21. Is your SR20 a non-turbo? SR20DE (atmo 180sx version) used a conventional distributor but the turbo ones have multi-coil ignition (according to Drift Battle magazine).
  22. mate where were those pics taken? just wondering cause there's another R32 in the background with no plates and I've seen a white R32 for sale recently with pics taken at the same place??
  23. Although it's auto, it is a S2 which are still worth a fair bit more than a similar S1. So whilst a S1 auto 4-door may sell for say $13,000, a S2 one could more than likely fetch $16k or close to it. That's my thoughts anyway. EDIT: P.S. Sounds like a good plan (if that's what you're after)!
  24. First you have to find out how it's been lowered (ask the owner). If it's just had lower springs put in then just change them for stock springs or other lowered springs which aren't as low. IF it's got height adjustable coil-over suspension you can either sell it to me or adjust the height up so you have more ground clearance. Why did you decide on an R33 GTS-4? I only bought one cause i went looking at a NA R33 and it turned out to be a GTS-4, I only bought it cause it was in excellent condition. Personally I would've preferred a GTS25 (rwd) because they're lighter than the GTS-4 and the 4wd is a bit of a waste with the non-turbo engine IMO, but it is good to have in the wet I guess. Have you got a quote for insurance on a turbo model because I've heard there isn't all that much difference between insurance between turbo and NA models.
