Thanks champ. Yea they did a wheel alignment. So this 'feathering' thing actually happens? Just get new tyres fitted and balanced and it should be good? Thanks again.

Sorry to hi-jack your thread, but I've got a similar problem.. I get steering wheel vibration above around 80km/h. I took it to get a balance but the guy said the vibration is because of the tyres. He said because of how the tyres have worn they are impossible to balance. He said you can try balancing them as much as you want but the vibration isn't going to go away so he'd just be 'taking my money'. He said the tread had 'feathered' and that you can tell by running your hand over the tyres. So he says I need to get new tyres to fix the problem. Could this be true or he is just trying to get me to buy new tyres??

AFAIK You can have up to 12 cars in Career mode and 20 in your 'My Cars' section (free to do up and used for Quick Races etc). You can use your career cars in Quick Race mode as well.

Here are some of my cars.. sorry about the quality I had to take photos of the TV (I've got it on PS2). I finished the game (well the last race, not actual 100% complete) last saturday. I'm wondering if I've unlocked any unique Black Edition extras.. some of my bonus cars I've received after completing the last race include oldskool Camaro SS and BMW M3 GTR (stock one as well as the one seen in Career mode), some AMG version Mercs and some racing Corvettes (they have a stripped interior with roll cages) do you unlock these on the 'normal' version as well?

I need new tyres for my R33 GTS-4 (non-turbo 4wd). Current tyres are 225/50/16 Sava Intensa, which seem to give adequate traction for my car. I can get the same ones (Sava) for around $180each? Cheaper Nankangs for around $120each Or something like Goodyear Eagle F1s for $210each They're the 3 I was told about today anyway. Any suggestions? Car is just a daily driver obviously and I want something that has decent grip in the wet too. Current tyres aren't too bad in the wet, it will only slide in the rain if you make it (obviously 4wd makes it harder). I get $10 off a tyre, so F1s would be $800 fitted and balanced, which is probably the most I would want to spend. I don't really want to get a cheaper tyre than my current Sava's so probably wont get the Nankangs but might consider the F1s if they are good?

akeenan, if it is close to your house and you go by there, could you do us a favour and take a photo of the shop? i'm just curious what it looks like. thanks

I just cleaned mine with the lights still in the car. If your worried just be careful around the edges near the paint and hose it down.

maybe the car was modded but they took all the aftermarket parts off and replaced with standard items but left the aftermarket ECU in? So the current ECU might not be right for the car now. F**ked if i know.

I'd hate to have had my skyline when I was still at school. They installed 3 huge speed bumps along the school driveway.. (have to drive down it to get to the carpark) One of the teachers SS commodore would always scrape haha

I put a pod on my NA r33 recently, cant hear any difference.. you'll never get the same sound as the turbos make.

How do you get the horn cover off? The top part unclips but I think a screw is holding the bottom part (there is a hole at the back) but I cant seem to undo the screw?
