Do these really make that much of a difference? I'm a complete spaz when it comes to working on cars so who would I get to install the kit? Are there any negative side effects of using one of these?

Went down to Forster on the weekend for my cousins wedding. On friday, saw a wine red R33 GTS-T in grafton, S2 wing and flame graphics down the side.. thats all i saw. Saw a silver R33 GTR somewhere along the way between grafton and forster (cant remember where) lol.. Friday night saw a wine red R32 GTS-t driving across the Forster-Tuncurry bridge, think it was doing laps. Number plates something-15P. Saw it again on Saturday driving in Forster. Saturday saw a wine red R33 GTS-T driving in Tuncurry, damaged front bar. Also saw a gunmetal R32, looked like it was a GTR (wide rear fenders etc) but dont think it had a badge on the back, it was heading towards Forster from Pacific Palms direction. Today (sunday) around lunchtime saw a charcoal R33 GTS-T with BEN-something numberplates, FMIC, 18s (i think) with green P's inside window, was near shopping centre/KFC. Are there even any members on here from Forster area? I would've waved but I didn't take my skyline down..

As topic says, I'm after a 2.5" exhaust system to suit an R33 skyline. I am located in Northern NSW but will travel a few hours to pick up.

Last time I checked my manual R33 GTS-4 worked out to get about 14L/100km using BP ultimate, pretty shit for a stock standard non-turbo 6. I put it down to car needing a service (getting done tomorrow) and lots of around town driving. Oh yeh, and fanging it too much

Not sure what's going on with my computer but I can't play either of those .MOV files. Could somebody convert the files to mp3 or wav files or something so that I can at least listen to them? Thanks. P.S. Anyone seen any places selling jap-brand (HKS, Blitz etc) exhausts for N/A R33s? (new or used)

Hey mate, one is prolly cat converter and the other might be a resonator or something. I recorded mine on a digi cam as a movie and then put the movie on the comp and just recorded the sound of it with the windows program 'Sound Recorder'. Try it with your phone and see how it goes. Did your car already have the exhaust system fitted when you bought it? I'm trying to find out how much a 2.5" system will cost me. Got a pic of your muffler, is it a cannon? Stock muffler looks so shit hanging out the back of my car atm I'm looking at getting the Apexi Power Intake POD filter, $165 on modyourcar.com.au

Can you please tell me all the details of the exhaust set-up you had (resonators, mild or stainless steel piping etc, cat-back or full, extractors?) And if you have a pic, I'd love to see what your POD filter set-up looked like, did you use any heat-shield or CAI piping? Would you recommend the Blitz metal mesh one? Does anyone know what kind've sound I'd get from just changing the muffler? (My mate just did this with his 2.5L Impreza RS and it sounds good) How much will a 2.5" cat-back system cost roughly? Just out of curiousity, on a S1 R33 there are fog lights in the front indicator assembly isn't there? How do the fog lights turn on? Thanks.

Thanks Mick, The vertical fuse spaces on the left, I thought they were just for holding spares? You said you have a 3A fuse there for your dash lights though? So I need to remove the fuses in the sixth row down, both left and right side, because they should be empty yeh? And I could remove the 20A from the airbag fuse spot because my car doesn't have airbags, and put it in the first blower motor spot that has nothing? is there any reason why you'd have a fuse for the airbag spot when there is no airbag?? lol Dont know what the previous owner did!! is there anytime you would use the empty fuses spots (sixth row), like for aftermarket accessories or something they may have had? Thanks again.
