ok yesterday arvo i decided to take the car for a spin to see if it was still happening. On the first drive it was still out but not as much. after leaving a mates house it was fine and back to normal. I dont know what the hell was happening, probly something was loose. ???

Its prob a good thing you dont know what driving my mums magna feels like And if its this how hard is it to fix. i have no idea how to check this out to see if its the problem. do i simply take out the speedo and check for loose wiring / sh1tty spring?? would it be causing any harm drving it as it is at the moment, besides clocking up a shite load of extra km's?

I was also going to up the boost to 12PSI. I have a new O2 sensor and once the tune is done i thought the Power Fc would run ideal A/F ratios. I also thought that i'd seen on here a few R32's with stock turbs putting out close to 200rwkw. If i upgrade the fuel pump / regulator would that be helping or is the stock turbo simply going to hinder every mod from this point on. i wasnt keen to part with another 2-3G's for a good 5/6 months.

I'm not planning on aftermarket turbo for atleast a few months. I thought that the AFM and injectors would add some power just on their own. Or will it cause problems with the stock turbo? I was mainly wanting to know if there are any smallish things (few hundred bucks) to throw on before the tune that will improve performance. I was plannin on gettin the boost controller before the tune anyway tho. prob the blitz SBC i-colour.

Morning all, on my way to work this morning cruiseing through the local neighbourhood i noticed that the speedo was reading awefully high. when cruising through the main streets at approx 60km, the speedo was reading around 100! and it was flying up like crazy through each gear! I stopped the car and turned it off then back on twice, even tried starting it in just rear wheel with 4wd disabled but no good. Whats happened! Please help, i had to drive my mum's magna to work... Do you know what that feels like!

I had a mate that had his car fitted with a front mount along with an engine conversion and he cant get the car engineered until he covers the intercooler with mesh. apparently its a defect, but then again what isnt these days. i think just having a skyline badge is a defect to most cops, hehe.

Morning all, Ive bought a Power Fc recently and its sitting in my room. i also tried to buy an AVC-r but some c0ckhead in on ebay f*cked me over. So im looking for another b/c. im pretty keen to get a new Z32 AFM and bigger injectors as well tho, now it would seem logical that if i get these after the tune it will throw the tune out a fair bit? will it be better to wait the extra few weeks/month to get the tune?? and is there anything else (smallish) that i should be buying before the tune to top up that power figure?? I currently have pod, 3" turbo back zorst, FMIC.

I was told that i would need about 5 litres for the engine and 2 1/2 litres for the gearbox. does this sound right?? i didnt think that the engine would take that much.

Yeah im about 99% sure i dont have the Getrag box. One of the guys mentioned this to me. well, id say lightweight it is. Cheers for the help. also how often do u change the redline oil. i currently change the engine every 5,000kms. i hope to get a bit longer out of this oil for the price. is this the case or am i just pullin the old wallet out as always?

Morning All, Ive decided to step up the quality of my oil to redline. Ive been quoted about $125 for 5 lites of the 10W40 (engine oil) and about $65 for 2 and a half litres of the shockproof. What shockproof should i be buying tho. there are 3 grades and i got told by one guy that the "medium" would be fine, then another said the "lightweight" is what i need. Would there be much difference between them??? the mods i have are :- Pod, Intercooler, 3" exhaust turbo back, Power Fc (about to get installed) and boost controller (shipping as we speak).

just thought id finally leave some feedback on Troy. ive had the cooler fitted for a while now. he was easy to deal with and i'd recommend him to anyone. cooler looks damn sweet as well.

yeah i bought the trust V-spl and barely any of the front bar got chopped. and no fan blades cut either. the only thing i have noticed is a slight rub mark from the bonnett on the top of the crossover pipe.

i payed about $180?? for an autotechnica one from supercheap. fits quite snug. ive been warned by a detailer that any sort of car cover isnt very good long term. he said that in the long run the corners over the car are consistantly being rubbed by the cover from wind e.g. edge of wing etc. and can wear it thin. and any amount of dirt that gets in the cover is very hard to get out and will scratch the paint. i barely use mine anymore as it has collected dirt and i dont want to scratch the duco. only use it when it has to stay outside and there looks to be a possibility of hail.

well i just bought an Apexi AVC-r today as im wanting to dial up 12PSI. and along with 3" turbo back zorst, Greddy FMIC, n POD i thought it might be an idea to get the entire thing tuned properly. I've been talking to a dood at UNIGROUP near sydney i think?? hope he does a good job. will be about 2weeks until the AVC-r arrives tho. so a small wait.

im telling ya, u havent lived until you've seen this key ring. as soon as i put it on my key chain 3 lesbian couples appeared on my doorstep wanting to group experiment. and being the nice kinda guy i am i had to help them out. true story.

yeah i want to buy one like right now, but i have absolutely no idea were to get one from. its like NOBODY has one for sale. especially in pretty yellow writing which renders me incapable of saying no. but oh well. maybe one day. hehe

hehe, yeah those sticky things are pretty cool. but i got a bonus. because its an AP Engineering version i got me a funky shiny key ring! damn skippy! my key chain is now complete. lol.

Morning all, I just got my power fc today. woo hoo!!! but was surprised at the lack of wiring. infact all thats there is the cable coming off the hand controller. i realise that the unit plugs into the standard loom but i was expecting a cable or something so the unit car sit in the car (passenger floor) is this all thats spose to be in the package???

were are people finding these prices. ive checked out heaps of forums, ebay, all kinds of places and i can only find em around $570 at best.

i also have 3" turbo back zorst, pod filter. but i just put on a GREDDY FMIC, and have a power fc and a boost controller coming from japan. i was planning on 14pounds when i tune it in a few weeks. i have been told that the stock turbs can handle this for quite some time if they are in good nick.

morning all, im buying an AVC-r and i just found one second hand from a GTR for $470 roughly. this is a good price from what ive seen so far. is there anything that is a common problem for these units that i should be worried about.
