  3. They said on the radio that he's keeping his job, but he has a behaviour review meeting with HR
  4. While I didn't watch today tonight, I heard their promo for tonight on the way home... How TopGear is promoting hoon driving Edit: Just checked the site, the video is there, and yes they used the audition footage.

  8. No no, it's not regoed, but I could do that first - haven't decided yet Decided on a colour though - I think lol
  9. So will my engine... but if it's already registered I can drive around for a while with the new engine without a engineers cert
  10. Yeah, it's going to be a very slow process - I haven't decided if I'll do enough to get it registered first, or do a complete strip and do it properly from the start. Each has advantages and disadvantages Didn't mind the study tiles, looked alright, maybe just how they look through the camera though. No quotes yet - have to collect stuff like certificate of title, existing plans and stuff first. I don't have any walls to come down, I do want to add a larger door opening in a couple though, and some bigger windows
  11. Started shaving the bump strips the other day, there's a decent layer of bog, so will have to sand it all back to see what I've got. Going to remove the bumpers and see if I want to leave them off or replace them with early model ones. It's not going fast by any means.
  12. Renos are looking good Paul, nice shiny floor in the study
  13. My plan is to do it myself, that way I can maximize the increase in value, and not have to worry about builders wanting the work. Just need a drafter to redraw my plans...
  14. hehe certainly looking forward to that part of home ownership Need to do some renovating to help things along. Think I've finished my plans in the regard though. Software engineer - .NET development
  15. At the moment I'm missing renting where I was able to tell the landlord that the hot water was broken and they'd get it fixed... now I have to get it fixed myself, and pay for it, doh. Currently waiting for payrise - due in march, no idea how it will be yet. All the good jobs available at the moment seem to be recruiters trying to get people for us anyway... sucks that contractors get 3 times what we get for the same work
  16. Hey Ni, how's the new car? Any good games out for the xbox lately?

  18. Except you can't modify for more power on your Ps

  20. Ok, seem to have narrowed it down to a faulty relief valve on my electric hot water service so plumber no longer required, just need a new valve. Shame you're not at a plumbing supplier here in Melb Luke
  21. Still, I wouldn't go buying a car based on having to apply for an exemption that has to be approved... and can therefore be rejected
  22. Spotted a white 34 with sau stickers turning into Knox the other day, westwd.
  23. The variability in quality and price was why I was hoping for recommendations. It's just an open ended pipe dangling under the kitchen that has a slow but consistent drip. While I have good access under the rest of the house I can't get under the kitchen. I could block it, but if it's an overflow then I want to find out what it's connected to.
  24. Need a plumber for what is hopefully a quick and easy job in Upwey. Got a strange copper pipe hanging under the house that's dripping a decent amount of water. Need to find out what's letting out the water out at the other end of the pipe, or close off the leaking end of the pipe before my house slides down the hill... Anyone know one or have recommendations?
  25. -1 celica doesn't look right for celica
