  1. well i picked up fastfours today and gt2 and the benz were in it and they were bloody filthy from rain and road, also had a corner by corner detail comparo in your words around the track, hehe! was a good read. looked like you guys had a ball!!
  2. hey bozman, just been reading fastfours the gt2 loooks awsome and so does the benz!! very jealous.
  3. hey noddy, thats a bummer would have been good to catch up for the road trip!! seeya in the maryborough the week before , hey? did you do carnel?
  4. good to hear paul !! did you get my PM ?
  5. Funny you should say that! about ten or twelve years ago i remember going for a drive in a gtst and thinking how nice it was but how i really wanted a gtr but couldnt afford it at it, i think import r32 gtr's were about mid forties back then. now i am a self confessed addict that will go without a meal(mind you by my body shape you wouldnt think so) to have gtr's!! my wife hates me but my shed is full! haha !!
  6. awsome job mark!!...big f@#kin nuts too!! i need to talk to you soon....
  7. hey ryan a few ppl have seen the r33 already, alot of it was done before i bought it, mind you we have mad many changes since then!! here's a few pics , cant wait for it to tear the track up and set it up, it's on full slicks. the boot area has changed as the dry sump resevoir is also in there now too.
  8. no drama ross, marlin is alot closer to the car than me. the r34 rear firewalls are very different to r32 , so the mod thats been done basically makes it look like an r32 to now!!, r34's have quite an amount of tin work around the strut tops and parcel tray. that has all been removed and sealed off & strengthened. cheers russ
  9. also cobb have nothing available at the moment or have a date when something maybe ready, as i have already contacted them and that was the reply.
  10. bloody hell gary where's the fun in that!! he needs to tape down his boost button !!, him and i had a great drag race the other day, really cool.
  11. hey JP has that photo been airbrushed, your 300 doesnt look that good! lol i heard you got the times down at WP too! field of dreams was a pretty good movie.
  12. hahah i shit myself when it moved on me too!! cool , so he doin the radiator area too now, he must be into it! should make it easy to pull out the driveline hopefully. was the fuel cell in the boot?
  13. hi Ryan the 32 is just a labour of love! been slowly doing it up for a couple of years. nearly finished now, new set of wheels for it and change the bonnet to go. the 33 has been a project we started about three years ago and have had no time to finish, it's a pure race car sports sedan, should go well , it's waiting for some dyno time in the next two weeks and the some testing, trying to bring it to superlap to puton display. it should be fun to drive, monster cams, hks t51, dry sumped , ppg box etc etc!!
  14. i dont know about anyone else but my memories of warranty repairs are not good! i am shit scared of taking my new cars back to the dealer for any work. ( i have had plenty of new cars) the last new car i took back for repair almost cost an engine rebuild as they forgot to put the oil filler cap on and the engine spewed out most of the oil on the way back to my place. this was of course not there fault!! but they were kind enough to look at it for me. how very grateful i am!! (engine bay completely covered in oil with 500 klms on the clock) there is no way in hell i will be taking my car back for repairs, service or any other mechaincal work, i am in the fortunate position of being able to carry out the work myself. (like quite a few others on here) and that also goes for if i buy an australian v spec version when released, it will never see a dealer after delivery either.
  15. haha!! damn you ben! seeing all the goodness before me, atleast he is onto it for me. bloody good to see! what else is done? the hollinger is sequential and gearshift ignition cut but not air shifted.
  16. Yeah definately with that mile on the third run it would have been a 10 second pass!, our first 10 pass was 10.8@ 129 mph so the haltech gtr with a good launch is already capable of 10's. excellent result.
  17. fantastic result for first time out!! i remember being happy when my evo ran 12.4 with autronic, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, aps cold air induction, etc boost incease and tune & 11.1 @ 124 excellent! 10's are coming very soon
  18. sounds like they maybe close, good power hike .... despite the typo error will interesting to see how it fairs at the drags!
  19. haha.... this will be very cool!! really looking forward to being part of it! the lastest fast fours(may edition) has a couple of pages on superlap! and i can confirm the new car has left the dealer and is at the docks, should have it in three weeks!
  20. sounds like your chasing the rear end roy!? get a big bar and work all your bushes and check for movementm try an put pressure on the hub as you would underpower! our car use to do it too.
  21. hehe i would love one of these..... KPGC110 GTR and an r31 bloddy dont give me any ideas!!!!
  22. you are right dunc! the 32 is just about a shell! lol got some pics sent to me of my new car! ready to get put on the ship early next week! so should be here in three weeks!! cant wait the stable!! can you imagine how the stable shortly! sarah my wife is going to f@#king kill me! soon i am sure, but my saving grace is i have told her she car drive the r35 at the maryborough sprints! lol (worked wonders)
  23. that is sad news harry, looks like a top car that would be unreal to drive!
  24. hey ben go across and tell him to hurry up! on second thought's dont do that, as i dont think that would get him motivated! really sweating on getting the car back now, as i will have the full body kit & dash in a fortnight!
