  5. got the petrol , because it goes like a rocket and i can deal with the fuel economy. also i didnt like the noisy diesel and didnt want a manual (the auto diesel was twice as noisy, always reving on the convertor)

  8. wow 9 hours! lol if that was just a straight swap out thats is an absolute joke the hypertune plenums are a bit harder as the studs need modify from memory as they are too long for the plenum flange, piece cake if the engine is out though, bitch in the car. hope it gets better for you soon , as it must be pretty damn anoyying especially if you spend good money and you are seeing issues.

  12. i have a new petrol navara, great tow car power and speed wise good for 150 kph odd with trailer behind! lol but absolutely sh!t house for fuel consumption!

  19. good choice mate, if you get the right guys you will be seriously happy with the result
  20. also , if you want mines speed and driveability (there white r34) you better change you driveline , depending on what model gtr you have. there diff ratio's are vastly different from a standard r34 which is why if you watch there video's the tacho's is spinning so hard , at tsukuba the mines gtr is going through two very tight hairpins in third gear! which we were doing in 2nd gear and we have shorter ratio's than standard at 4.3 (gts 4 diffs in our r32) the m speed gtr was the same, top speed was 250 in sixth with a hollinger! dont get me wrong it's a bloody fast car, but there are plenty of tricks to make it do what it does on those tracks, it would run out of revs about half way down the straightr at eartern creek or queensland raceway. also read the big red warning on the warranty for the engine , oil surge in a gtr engine is almosty a given if you are seeing enough traction & there is no warranty when you spin a bearing!! there are quite a few gtr specialists in australia that can build you an engine that will amaze you , and it will be built for our conditions!
  21. well not much to add, been busy with work but parts are arriving and the sheel has gone for preparation work , so i wont see it back for about a month!
  22. this is the same problem i have always has with subaru the car that you buy in australia is far from what you buy in japan, c spec STI jap model is an amazing car, australia only version is a p.o.s. diufferent engine different steering different suspension, different weight everything. thats why i bought a mitsubishi evo a while back ( aus model evo 9) it was very close to jap spec and just fantastic. but no gtr ! lol it will be a shame if nissan detune it or soften it up, but i lways thought the pricing may come down a bit from the 160k pricing thats been thrown around.
