  4. hehe! bugger the run in my gtr will hit the limiter before the first corner on the first drive! & that will probably my wife!! introduce it to it's new life (hopefully about 8 weeks away)

  7. I dont know about that. Mark won 28 stages out of 32 in last years NSW dutton and won every wet stage which was about half, including motokhanas and short sprints. even won some stages in the wet when other competitors did the same stage in the dry!! lol gtr's are a great all rounder. p.s: when their modified of course
  8. yeah, who would put aftermarket wheels on that look like poor copies of the real thing & talk about bloody heavy!! the front bar is genuine nismo it's got a badge and part number fibre glassed into it! & nismo lights in it.

  10. yes it's a really nice car, bloody dirty under neath though!! friggin road cars, who'd work on em! lol i promise you it will be reborn!! this thing is going to be something special, you should see the gear for it!! didnt get the car finished(stripped) should have it ready to take to work and take the subframes & glass out tuesday, there some really cool engineering changes from the r32 to this, great to pull it apart and see all the differences. mind you i have never worked on an unmodified r33 so big differences for me. and my baby has come back! it came back friday and i spent saturday night cleaning it! lol ( drank bourbon , i have been stressed about getting it back from japan) speak soon guys russ
  11. yes best we could do was 1380, depending on fuel load, ( i needed to spend more money!) and that was enough car came back from japan yesterday! ( thank god, fair bit of stress waiting for it) cheers russ need to send those bloody videos to you too
  12. some here duncan , if you value your car you should have it insured especially for theft, do you know how many damaged cars i have seen crashed on the back of cartrailers! quite a few? if it's insured it's all covered, everything but on the track itself.
  13. well here's some pics of the r34 last week and i will post up some pics of the car tomorrow night, should be nearly just a shell, not bad for a day and a halfs work, then we need to make a chassis frame so we can rotate it and also use it to ship to sydney to get the shell acid dipped. i will keep ya's posted with it's progress

  15. all done , so looking good for tuesday, brake fluid change and a few other things first and try and find some fuel!

  17. engine oil temp is getting up in the that readout, hope it's not a sign of things (not exactly hot in japan)
