hi roy i just bought a new camera and it has been great , records straight to sd card great sounds and great vision really easy to use , has remote control and external microphone point which i use. easy to get out of car and watch on telly or copy straight to computer. http://www.vsport.com.au/ecommerce/?categoryID=157 this is vision from it recently, and it was setup quickly as i had bought it that day! the quality is quite a bit better again without the downgrading it for you tube. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=lf6opg6Mdt0 cheers russ

hey how did yours come up michael? obviously happy with the results! here is a link to our car running a HKS TO4Z setup at the Bathurst sprint a few weeks ago, overall the results we pretty good but takes abit to get use to as we are use to running small twin setups. we limited boost to 25psi which made approx 430 awkw's on the rollers, fiddled with cams a fair bit whiched helped the middle alot, i think full boost was around 4700 - 4800. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=lf6opg6Mdt0 cheers russ p.s i prefer more response, but the single rush was good too. wouldnt be as much fun on a tight track

Wrecking White R33 Gts4 Sydney
giant replied to specialk's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
do you have any of the 4wd stuff? eg: 4wd computer and the pump unit in the boot? -
hereis a vid when the car 4wd on the first day and mark was getting used to the track. car is a lot better behaved, following a ver yquick gt2 around, it was a beautiful highly modified gt2 and also passing an r35 gtr http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=A5mqAoCrXkc

hey RBNT, Mark did come in rather stuffed, i dont reckon he took to many breaths Roy definately in two wheel drive mate, the slicks were helping gear the power down heaps , michelin slicks they are bloody soft too. we only had 4wd friday and saturday morning then if blew up. i will post a pick of the carnage when i can , i am going to keep the diff housing as a keep sake cant believe it came off so neatly!! he is a few clips of mark slipping around some, i think he had to change his pants on the last one.... haha http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=m7v4BliLpWM

yeah well done to Mark B, Mark R & Cam, bloody good driving given the conditions ( lots of rain) , which really limited any learning the track time with good grip! especially as EVO Cam and ourselves had mechanical trouble which meant even less laps. It was a good weekend and absolutely fantastic fun,& the most amazing track you could ever imagine driving , i thought! it was the r33 that we took down for it first real race debut, which was a mission to get even half right, the car got one session friday and managed a 2.20 which we were happy with given it was Mark's first time on track! but the car was handling very poorly , it was trying to change lanes on it's own when pushed and swap ends over the high speed bumps on the crests. Then Saturday the front diff and housing assembly parted company with the sump and the top of the hill just after skyline with me in it ( my one and only drive of it two laps in), so we decided to take the whole lot out and run it in rear wheel drive for Sunday. attached is a lap incar from yesterday with rear drive only, you maybe able to make out the whole car trying to bounce sideways from the shit suspension uprights and standard bushes still in the car. he couldnt hold it flat over the crests on either straight as it just wanted to bounce of the track! it is a credit to Mark to drive it so fast handling sp poorly like that! http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=lf6opg6Mdt0

also if anyone has time and can vote for my car on the link it would be appreciated !! cheers russ http://www.performancerepco.com.au/index.p...&entryid=83

yes correct, as Snowy said the standard gtr r35 paddles dont move with the steering.
-
i have always wanted to dirt rally an r32 gtr!! i think it would be quite good, especially given the new class " run what you brung" 350 plus kw gtr ripping it up
-
hey ben the trailer looks great mate! good choice cya soon

having driven both the old r32 gtr/r33 gtr & r34 gtr and now racing the new r35 gtr, i can tell you that the new gtr is still one of the most fantastic driving experiences money can buy. it has lost none of that gtr style it is so sure footed yet so very slideable, big power slides are available off any corner. the speed the car can brake/corner and accelerate at leaves the older models for dead and the balance is just out of this world. also let me state that it is nothing like driving an evo for instance which does feel like your being helped and also a bit boring (but very competitive) driving the new gtr , you have to lift your skills to a competely new level, everything is happening much faster so fast it takes awhile to comprehend! also Snowy you are spot on, if you want to flog them things will brake, Snowy has driven many supercars and i sure some have failed, buy a lambo and see how long you get out of you clutch. buy a new sti or rs evo and side step the clutch from 6 or 7000 rpm 20 or 30 times and see what happens (in standard form), in an evo if your clutch handles it you may leave the right angle drive on the ground. the new gtr is absolutely amazing, anyone that owns one and takes care of it , will have one of the most amazing driving experiences you can get. this photo below is at superlap , when the car is sliding you can change gears , and the change is so fast that the car will not move about! the gearbox may not handle heaps of launches (escpecially on stickier tyres) but it is still one of the best things about driving this car!!
-
thanks snowy will have to give mine a try! for the track , great lap times and cheaper tyres too. but man that car is way to low with 18's for targa rally or other road rallies , i reckon

can you send me some details bobby please
-
very nice trailer, i love the look of those trailers!!
-
i dont want to be on the side of the road all the time fixing up some american piece of shit!! haha
-
yep petrol engine v6, it's quite good on fuel actually we are geetting about 300klm out of 150 litre tank! lol seriously though we just hard the car uni chipped and it's picked up about 20% in fuel economy and much better throttle response, air/fuel was 10:1 previously
-
panzy ... ...you wont be saying that when your in it having a drink!! with aircon on! & yeah it does fit r32's perfectly, just not gay ones that dont run from inner Sydney! LOL thanks guys it is a good trailer, the nissan navara knows when it's towing it though, haha the trailer is alloy framed though so helps a bit.
-
some nice trailers on here, i always like looking at trailer setups too. and yeah r32's are the shit!! always will be here is our trailer we bought earlier this year, will need some mods thought to fit the r34 in it as the wheel track is a bit wide( maybe ramping up over the inner guards.

cams studs seem like BS to me too, unless there were other issues or super valve spring pressures on the nose of the lobe! ( coil bind maybe)
