  1. In New Zealand at the moment and there is one for sale in Aukland for $45,000 and it is real rough. only 65,000km. Yeah right.
  2. Looking for R32 GTR in real bad condition for track use. Any condition is ok the worse the better. It will be getting completly stripped.
  3. Will do mate have fun.
  4. Nice work Carlos. Sorry I didn't catch up with ya had to go back to work. In NZ at the mo will be home in the next week or 2 will come and have a look at it then
  5. I think it's 53mm thick?? What ever their thickest is. Also its cross flow not upright. I choose to lose the fan and put a thermo on it. Got the thoermo turning on at 85 deg C and off at 80 deg C, and you very rarely here the thermo come on, the rad works that well. After a long run and the car is idling down on the turbo timer the fan may come on for 20 sec at the most. Can't see how alloy rad could be some thing cops or regency would dislike. But you never know with either of them.
  6. it was $1000 with thermo fan and a second boss in the top tank for a thermo switch. You can't get it hot at all. I'll bring the car over in the next couple of days.
  7. Got the Radiator. It looks excellent. The quality of workmanship is excellent. Customer service from the guys up in Qld PWR branch is second to none. Sorry tlo say it but I disagree with earthing alloy radiators. If all your mounts and hose'a are good the radiator should be isolated from the car, so putting a earth on it will then allow stray current to be intrduced into the rad.
  8. Look neat Carlos. Have to sneak over and have a look one day.
  9. I jump start My 32 GTR when ever its flat. AS LONG AS you have a GOOD set of jumper leads that have the surge protector in them all the battery terminal that you are connecting the leads to are clean and you connect them in the right sequence you will never have a problem. In saying correct sequence you connect your earth LAST and it is the FIRST lead you will take off after your car has started. NEVER disconnect the Positve first as thats where voltage spike can occur and poof goes the ecu if you are real unlucky. This is the same when you disconnect your battery when you want to remove it. I don't know where you heard you can't jump start turbo cars from, I can't say i've ever heard of that before. If the battery is dead flat you would be better off charging it over night, or unless you can go for a good long drive in the car after you jump start it. Couple hrs or more.
  10. Are they any good. Also do they come in Cross flow
  11. Cheers Guys. I think I'll order one for the GTR.
  12. Standard R32 GTR Air box, snorkel and Shocks
  13. Hey all. The Radiator has just given up the ghost In my GTR and needs replacing. Just wondering has any one used PWR alloy Radiators before and are they any good.
  14. My R32 GTR has the Standard Calipers with different rotors. Not 100% sure what the rotors are but it seems to work well. Only problem Is it is real heavy on pads, and the cars is a country car so the brakes don't get used as much as a city car.
  15. I think the reason its so dear is that it is no longer a up right rad it is cross flow so the tank are on the side of the rad and it is a real weird size. Ive tried all the big radiator places in SA and they where all about the same price.
  16. Its just getting old. The header plates are way to thin for the car and the stiff ride of the GTR has started cracking the header plate around where the tubes go into the header plates.
  17. I'd say so.
  18. Hey all. I have a R32 GTR. My car currently has a Cross flow triple pass radiator in that was made especially for it and it has started leaking in a number of places, as rads do. I have got a few quote on getting a new core made for it and near had a heart attack when I got the first quote back, and then decided to get a quote on a standard GTR rad which is nearly $1000 cheaper. Do the standards one work well enough Is my car going to get hot. The cars is a country car (And it get real hot out here) and very rarely does any city traffic light work, but does get driven hard on the country roads. And next yr will be doing a couple of track days. The car is currently making about 250 rwkw but was hoping in the near future to get it up to around the 300 mark. Any help would be great as I dont want to spend money on a standard rad and modifing the car to suit it and find out they don't work well enough. Cheers Craig.
  19. Actually live next door to Some Reddens. Yeap they are every where up here.
  20. Yeah its about 70 km's Nth of Clare. Spalding is between Us and Clare.
  21. There is some great driving out around here.
  22. Place called Jamestown. About 250km North of Adelaide. Not quite hicksville but very close.
  23. Have you ever tried to drill a broken easy out??? You can't. Super hard drill bit ??? Diamond and tungsten tip drill bit dont even touch them.
  24. Don't go any where near it with a easy out mate, if you have never used one. If you break a easy out off in there then you are screwed. The material that easy out's are made of is REAL hard and you will have a hell of a time trying to get it out. Trust me I know from experience.
