Anyone know who makes this plenum ?
-
Hi rev210 The Guy that i was dealing with at ACPT was called Peter it is funny because when i asked them i had to send the 2 ends from my shaft and they only made one size, they were going to look at making a large shaft and get back to me,i never heard from them again. Keith

Not such a good idea if it snaps • Mass 5.9Kg saving over 10Kg • Failure load in excess of 4000Nm • Utilising lightened LJ109 CV joint • Heavy duty 1310 series UJ • Machined from billet yokes The price i got from ACPT was the same price as the one fitted to my car. Then i had to transport it in from the usa and pay the duty on it. they also wanted my old shaft so that they could cut off the ends then fit them to there carbon shaft. Keith

Hi Guys When I was talking with ACPT last year about making me one of their carbon shaft's they could not tell me if there shaft could take the power that my car was putting out. Mario also posted on the UK GTR site saying that he had snapped 2 of the ACPT carbon shafts on hearing this I did not order from them in the end. The Carbon shaft on my car is made in the UK by www.ctgltd.co.uk If you look on my site I have a group buy set up www.keithcowie.com I have not had a chance to try the propshaft on the drag strip yet but they say that there carbon shaft is miles stronger than the std shaft

In Car Video Of Me Doing My 9.4 Sec
keith cowie replied to keith cowie's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
Here is some info taken from me new web site it should be up and running soon www.keithcowie.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2006 Drag racing looks like it is going to be a very good year. R.B Motorsport and OS Giken Japan are helping Team Cowie in a very big way next year the Team Cowie R32 Drag GTR will have full OS Giken running gear. The car will have a new 3L OSG engine,it will have the 2005 spec cylinder head fitted. But first the head will have larger duration cam's fitted plus some more work done to it by R.B Motorsport. There is also a new OSG R4C clutch being fitted with a special 8 bolt flywheel this is needed for extra strength. We also have a new OS88 6-speed racing sequential gearbox with a special 6th gear for high speed runs.R.B Motorsport will remove the front and rear OS super lock diff's,strip and rebuild them ready for next year. We are very happy to have full backing next year from Turbo Dynamics R.B Motorsport will be working with the guy's from Turbo Dynamics on what turbo spec will be the best for the new 3L OS engine, the turbo setup that we are going for will have to be able to back up 1200 bhp. turbo spec to follow Autronic UK are backing us again in 2006 they are supplying us with the new Autronic SM4 Ecu and a new high power Cdi unit, the old SM2 Ecu worked very well but we have been told the new SM4 with the new improved software will be better. -

My In Car Vid 9.3's @ 160 Mph Pass
keith cowie replied to keith cowie's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Hi Merli We were having fueling problems all day,we found that it was a fault with 1 pump at high revs. The EGT at the end of the runs were about 1000 degrees this video was taken in the final and I was a good second in front so I didn't see the point of risking my engine so yes I backed off early. Keith -
If you want to see my in car video of me doing my 9.4 sec pass at 160 mph,I then went on to set a new record and win the event. Go to the link below and download the second video down Hope you like it http://www.totb.co.uk/movies/ Keith
