Anyone got a GTR Type front bar on a series two? and if so where did you get it from?, any pics would be great!! Whats the differences when buying a bar for a series two.... is it just that it hasent got the grill atatched to it? I want to get rid of my standard front bar for a GTR type because the series two bar i have only exposes half of my intercooler wich is a waste! Dave

Tuned Length Exhaust Manifolds (ebay)
r33freely replied to r33freely's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Oh well from what i can see it seems there is more problems with these manifolds than meets the eye.. im not sure that even at $300 odd dollars it seems worthwild to buy one as nobody has claimed it gave them any extra noticable amounts of power/tourqe.. just a fckn headace to fit decision made= standard stays!..lol Regards Dave -
I have seen lots of Tuned length exhaust manifolds on ebay etc, to my way of thinking they must be worth the dollars as im sure the turbo would benifet from the better flow has anyone fitted one of these and if it was a low mount did it simply replace the standard manifold?... as they claim on ebay Regards Dave

Throttle Response - Dump Pipes & Hi Flo Cats
r33freely replied to NISGTS's topic in General Maintenance
yes, bigger exhaust less restriction and more response down low as well as up top there is a good thread on here somewear where sydneykid was dyno testing different cats and from memory the best was a four inch high flow cat, even on a three inch systyme and i personly must recomend the twin dump pipe from ces racing.com.... theres defenently 20+ kw there!! i could not belive the difference it made as far as low rpm spool is concerned and it keeps the power on at high rpm and after the gearchange! Dave -
just read all the posts..... i havent laughed so hard since i could remember!!! i agree.. people with GTR badges on GTST,S really should be weaving baskets!! ..... there brains have to be wired wrong!! anyway i agree totaly with 3lit3fors3, that if you want a GTR then you may as well just get one instead as there prices have fallen of the shelf over the past two years or so and it would be a much cheaper alternative as to cutting and re fabbing the rear guards ect of the narower beast as for the turbo, i dont know much but i would imagine if you want a quick spooler then your best to keep the factory unit and maybee have it high-flowed along with the fittment of a free flowing exhaust , most importantly a large or twin dump pipe Dave... still laughing..lol!!

i couldent agree more, diferent poeple say diferent things, im in the same boat as yourself.. i have a series two and want to fit a gtr type bar but cant seem to find them anywere to suit?? but i have seen a few on cars getting around and often try to figure out what brand ect they are anyone have any advice on were to get gtr bar for series two and what is the go with fitting them as aposed to the series one,(anyone fitted one?) exept for the obvious differences with the lights and grill set up Dave

i think they might sound better in the little boxes? i have alpine type r 6" round speakers in the factory holes in my R33 and they sound shocking.... no bass at all from them and i think its because there not sorta sealed in a box kinda thing?? Dave
