  1. Thanks for the comments, it was my first time panning so I was using a higher then I normally would shutter speed. It was also late in the afternoon/early evening, hence the darkness. Only just getting into the photography thing, really enjoying it. I will take all the advice I can get... Neil
  2. Hey Guys, These are my pictures from the event, my first time taking photos at a drift event so let me know what you think. Suggestions for improvement welcome, Neil
  3. Hey Guys, Came across this idea when searching around the internet. Looks silly and not exactly as good as a tripod but would be good to leave one in the car for when you need to take unexpected shots. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1041948/1_im...ose_the_tripod/ Neil
  4. Straight from Japan! I have been told they were a limited run of 3 piece LE37's from Volk. I could be completely wrong though... Neil

  9. To be totally honest I dont know. The tint was done when I bought the car. The rear window and fixed side windows are extremely dark, night time reversing is a nightmare! I dont think the tinting is legal as its alot darker then my S13 I had back in the day that I had darkest legal tint put on. Neil
  10. Thanks for the good feedback! believe it or not the photos were taken with a Casio Exilim S770 point and shoot, not the greatest camera... Id love a DSLR. The car wasnt clean either... Neil

  14. I have some questions for those with 33's. Im hoping to fit some 18 x 10 +20 on the rear of my newly acquired 1998 series 2. But I need to know the inner clearance available. The 10's according to my calculations are going to go back over 234mm from the hub face. Im no concerned with the distance out over from the hub, I expect to have guard work to fit them (dont believe in buying wheels that dont need work to fit). Just need to know if the inner clearance is big enough. Hopefully some one can have a look/take some measurements for me, Neil
  15. What sizes and offsets did you get? Im in the market for wheels exactly the same. Neil
  16. I have modified your post to what I think you meant. But yes once you have the rims jack the car up, put it on stands and work out what spacer your going to need. To get the wheel up to a similar point to where it will sit when on the ground, use another jack under the rim, throw a rag between the wheel and jack to protect the wheel. That way you can work out the amount of stretch and flare required or not required. Id dare say you may be able to fit the 10 with out any work possibly. Again if this was me fitting them the 10's would be recieving 235 tyres and spacers to get the stretched tyre to just clear the guard lip, this method will require less guard work then running bigger tyres and have the wheel itself outside the car more (the look I like). I have noticed however on this site that people tend to use bigger tyres then I would, ie 265 on a 10 etc. Its all up to you and the look you want, Neil
  17. If it was my car I would be running a 20mm bolt on and flaring and down sizing the tyres to fit. Assuming the rear guards are very similar to that of a r33. I believe rolling is a must do for any wheels you buy, but yes I do think it will need to be done. But to get them to fit with out alot of major work best way to work out what you will require is to use washers stacked on top of each other on your studs till the wheel no longer fouls on anything, then measure the width of the stack and get spacers the same width. Neil
  18. Will need spacers on the rear, but other wise should fit fine. Neil
  19. Going from the catalog wheel specs that work provide, you have - 8.5 +26 are deep rim O disks... your going to need spacers to clear the front brakes. Possibly as big as 20mm spacers. 9.5 +26 are also deep rim O disks... *may* need spacers to clear in the back. Ive never tried to fit O disks on a R33 before. This is going to make them harder to fit, but if your not scared of flaring and stretching tyres on it will look super hot. Can also dial some camber in to help fitment.
  20. Thats the sort of info we need in here. Thanks sydneykid. SK would you have any pics of the differences for reference sake? Neil
  21. - GTT 2 door and 4 door are identical suspension is identical. - There is a slight difference between non turbo and turbo models. (This is what i aim to get photos of, to outline these differences) However the GT GT-V model has the same suspension as the GTT. - R33 and R34 gtr will fit in a R34 GTT. Any more info, add it in!
  22. Hey Guys, I myself am looking into the suspension differences between the r34 gt and gtt models. Now I was hoping this thread could put a stop to all the threads asking similar questions. What I would like ideally is for some of you guys that own either gt or gtt models to take some photos of your suspension and post them up so we can out line what exactly are the differences. Also I would like to use this as a guide as to what suspension can be used from other models in either the R34 gt or gtt. Thanks in advance, Neil
  23. The R34 four door is Hot! But look at the 2 door kit that looks amazing!! Neil
  24. Bugger, why couldnt i have seen this earlier, its the right colour and everything! Sorry mate not too worried about the bar but the door would have been great. Thanks for your quick response mate, Steve.
  25. Im looking firstly for a stock engine fan for a RB25 (R33). Ok other things i want include: -Drivers side front door for a 4 door 32 (much prefer them to be the stock greyish blue colour) -Drivers Side rear door for a 4 door 32 (much prefer them to be the stock greyish blue colour) They have to be in good nick exterior wise, dont need to have the door cards and windows etc in them as ill just be swapping doors over after painting. -A power window motor for the drivers side rear window, mine died the other week so i would like to replace it eventually. -Sideskirts to fit a 4 door 32, Not hugely worried about getting some but if you have a pair you wanna get rid of give us a pic and a price. -Last thing is a front bar, somethign aftermarket like a gtr or do luck or something, im on a budget so nothing too expensive, but once again swing me a pic and a price. Located in Brisbane. I know its a bit of a long shot for some of the parts but its worth a try, thanks in advance for your help. Cheers, Steve
