  2. How about these on a 4 door - fronts 17 x 8 +34 Rears 17 x 9 +35 How would these sit? would the require spacers to sit flush or even a little outside the guards? Neil

  5. Hey guys just picked up a free boss kit and steering wheel, the boss kit fits a cressida but it fits my spline on my 32 gts also, the question i have is does the plastic assembley with the brass plate inside it (located just behind the stock steering wheel) come apart so i can get my horn working with this boss kit which has a brass ring which is meant to fit onto and brass plate for the horn... seems to have a few clips and everything but i didnt want to pull on things too hard incase it broke and didnt actually fit my boss kit. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? and have a solution other than buying a new boss kit cos im poor as and thats not an option at the moment. Thanks in advance, Steve.

  12. Cheers guys, seems as though the turbo variant is the way to go anyway. Neil
  13. Eventually it will either have a rb25 with 30 bottom end or a 2jz, however this is still undecided. Either the turbo or non turbo head will work with the 30 block so it doesnt particularly matter which version i buy in that view. Neil
  14. Hey Guys, I have tried searching and have found a few little bits and peices but its not exactly definitive or what im after. Ok basically i am going to be starting a project with a R34 Coupe or 4 door (not sure yet). Seeing as the non turbo models are a fair bit cheaper i have been looking inot buying one of those as a base. But then i got thinking about differences between the 2 different variants. Basically im after the major differences between the 2 ie brakes, suspension, chassis, anything that is performance inhibiting or is something else that will need to be upgraded if i was to buy a non turbo version. I relise there are series 1 and 2's i have found a bit of imfromation on these so you need not post up about that. The car will eventually get a different engine so the fact that one is turbo and the other isnt want be a problem. Thanks in advance, Neil

  16. any idea of the size of the tip on the jap bullet muffler? 3 inch, 4 inch maybe?
  17. It wouldnt be very good when you get a flat tyre though lol
  18. tyres are just cheap tyres (called tornados) 205/65 R15 95H .Im just looking for pressure reccomendations for them like all cars have, im not really going for performacne or anything i just wanna know what they should be.
  19. Hey guys, just a quick one. Im wondering what the reccomended tyre pressures for a r32 are? Cheers, Steve
  20. Thanks for your help guys, i think these bilsteins are the way to go. Cheers, Steve
  21. Ok i just read Sydney Kids lessons on shock absorbers and have a better idea of what is what, what are the pros and cons of the bilsteins and the pros and cons of a midrange priced coilover? A comparison may fix up my problem. I would still like to know whether installing the bilstein shocks while running stock springs etc will or will not make much of a difference to the performance in the way of handling and how rigid the car is though. Cheers, Steve
  22. Thats what i like to hear lol, less money for me down the track. Theres silvias and 180's out there with 4 stud which have monster engines in them and they are fine so i dont see why a 4 stud skyline couldnt stay that way provided it had sufficient braking power. Sorry for kind of hijacking the thread mate, continue. Cheers, Steve
