  1. Firenza ST-03 (235/45ZR17) Dry: 2/10 Wet: 0.5/10 Value 4 $: 9/10 These Tyres are downright dangerous in the wet, at 100k’s the car starts stepping sidewayz by its self according to the camber of the road. I rated them 9 for value as no matter how much you torture these tyres the tread level never seems to reduce.
  2. My vote, get it towed. Saves you replacing $100 worth of plugs when you get to the tuner and find that they're fouled up bad.
  3. Maaan, I couldn't imagine a better colour than that. People are just scared of loosing money on them.
  4. Just cross hatch the rotor with emery paper, around 80 grit as mentioned. The sqealing is caused by dust build-up in the grooves of the rotor. Don't be scared of giving them a good rub too. My vote, the 'red gooey stuff' is not required.
  5. Do you win some sort of prize if your car's weight is under 1300kg?
  6. :sorcerer: Good point.
  7. WD40 and more leverage. Just find a bar (1m in lenght) that fits over the spanner and it will give you superman like strength. Hope this helps dude.
  8. You'll have to get the colour made up. Know one normally has import colour codes on record.
  9. I thought my 92 was bad but 116... When does it do it, mine only knocks that bad in 3rd gear at high rpm with lots of load. At the moment I suspect my stocko fuel pump thats getting replaced with an 040 very soon. Did you get the PFC tuned or did you just put in and drive away?
  10. haha, the most fun bit. I ran my avc-r wiring through the passanger side hole where the rubber boot thing is. The easiest way to wire through it, is to fold the wires over a blunt flat screw driver and push it through.
  11. Rex's are almost at peak performance stock, running thick head gaskets and lots of boost. GT-R's in stock form are restricted all over the place reflecting nothing of what they really can do. GT-R’s also provide far better flexibility as far as tuning options go. Besides that rex's have four doors and the only thing that sets them apart from a GX is the bonnet scoop. Wrx’s also sound like old VW's running poorly and they are four cylinder and derive from a front wheel drive car and they are very common and they make you feel less manly after driving one and they're Subaru’s only half decent car. lol that'll do with the suby bashing for today.
  12. If your worried about resale value I'd go the s15 as not many are imported unlike the r34, which will become almost as common as r33's in a few years time (not quite that common but you get my point). I personally think the r34 looks heaps better all round especially the interior as the s15's have those dickey air vents. My r33 hardly uses any petrol when I'm not boosting it. Both the current sr and rb are very efficient at burning fuel, the only factor influencing fuel consumption is the weight difference, as the r34 has more weight to get up to speed. I think you find both cars will give you similar mileage; you may even get better mileage with the r34 on the highway. If you’re tall like me go the 34, so much space, comparable to that of a commodore. But it’s all preference I guess. I think you’ll be happy whatever way you go, as they are both great cars, reliable, stylish and more than anything Nissan which instantly makes them good haha, but seriously go the 34.
  13. Long ago nismo where making aftermarket black intercoolers with standard white and red nismo logo on the front (I think they may have been just excess 400r intercoolers). Good luck finding one.
  14. Yeah, more pics please.
  15. You could have just run more boost through it, as it’s essentially the same thing. Colder = safer not necessarily more power. If you really did have gains like that, I would have to say your old core was a piece of crap or your advertising for CRD.
  16. Thanks Guys, much appreciated. @ leech_: Are they 18's, what offset? Cheers, Brett
  17. I fitted mine myself; you really need another person there when you're installing just to help out. Mine performs great with the PFC now in. Boost hits hard, no real traction to speak of through first second and occasionally third at only 8psi. Double check your water lines on start up, I had trouble at first getting mine to seal (seeping out coolant). They need to be just that little bit tighter than you think they should be. Boost response has reduced a bit at driving speed (60km/h 4th gear), but definitely worth the sacrifice. Also check the wastegate before installing, I noticed mine was a little loose when it first arrived, didn't think anything of it. Now once installed it rattles and it’s driving me crazy. It'll only require taking the dump off and putting a circlip in, but I’m lazy and that'll take effort.
  18. Hey, Just want to ask does anyone have pics of a 33 with GT-C's, as I'm seriously concidering buying a set, but I'd like to get an idea of what they will look like. Cheers, Brett
  19. Not interested in just selling me the tyres, need something to take to T&T
  20. x2 Besides that, I doubt the ability of the apexi pods, as they are substantially smaller than the comparative K&N items and are still an oil-based filter. I think they would more suit an sr, ca etc.
  21. Water injection would be good for your application as you don't have cut out anything and it’s a DIY job for anyone. I have a slide hi-flow and I'm running the stock intercooler, providing you have good tune the knock level should be minimal. Upgraded intercoolers aren’t really necessary at the 200kW level, good for the wank factor though.
  22. So are you talking about selling 1 coilover or all four coilovers?
  23. Yes, it will. 100% fit.
