  2. hi guys I have just put 80mm AFM's on my rb26 and wana know how u get away with fitting the pods? I know most GTR after market pod kits are to suite the standard AFM's just wondering if I purchased say 2 x apexi pods to suite an R32 GTS-T they come with the adapter for the 80mm AFM's would these pods fit in the engine bay connected straight off the AFM's? has anyone got a set up like this? or if you have any sugestions to get around this plz let me kno..... Cheers

  5. hey mate found the problem but dont know where to start to fix it, we took the plug of the injector for cylinder one and put a test light on it and you can see the light flashing on and off as the injector is pulsing but then all of a sudden it stops for a bit then comes back on and keeps doing it, so every time it looses power I drop cylinder 1???

  7. from wot ive been told mate the trim and size of wheels are the same as stock but have been replaced with steel wheels and rebuilt at the same time.
  8. hi guys was driving my car 2day and it dropped a cylinder so I took it to get looked at and they tested a few things and found that the injector for cylinder one is cutting in and out due to power? we put a test light on it and seems to work fine when we then go for a drive and it cuts out again then we check it with the test light again and theres no power getting to the plug. keeps doing this on and off and even more so when i get up it? any reason for this? any obvious thing to look for? cheers

  10. pulled the plugs out to check that there ok and have put them back in but still does it so there tight. checked all the wiring
  11. Well I cant see how a bosch 040 will handle that sort of power when the pump only flows 102l/h @ 6.5bar, maybe at least a bosch 044!
  12. hi guys was driving my car 2day then then all of a sudden its lost alot of power and sounded like a wrx. I have a 32 with a rb26, I took it to a mechanic to have a look at it, Had about 10 grand spent on the motor 6 months ago so I was very worried something had happend, they guy did a compression test and everything seems to be fine 150psi across all 6 cylinders and plugs seem to look ok aswell? wot else could cause a cylinder to drop out? its cylinder 1. I have just put new splitfire coils in it aswell so I can eliminate that and It did have new plugs put it it last oil change

  14. so the walbro and bosch where running the same current and the walbros where dropping off top end is that right? you may be able to help me out do you think a bosch 023 intake could handle 300-300kw? I think they flow 168l/h there the biggest intake style pump bosch make?

Ok as im sure every one knows theres a big debate on wot pumps are better! one thing that my brain still can get around is how some people say that there walbro 255l/h pumps start to max out at 250-280kw but on the other hand ive seen many dyno charts of 300-400kw with the bosh 044 but wot I dont understand is how the bosh 044 which pumps out 200l/h can handle a shit load more then a pump that pushes out 255l/h shouldnt it be the other way round?

  18. im upgrading my turbos soon, I have already purchased my new turbos just waiting on a few other bits and pieces then ill pull my old turbos off which has steel wheels there where rebuilt and put on the car when I brought it, ill swap for ya wheels
  19. Ive been running 1 bar of boost through my stock turbos all day everyday for the last 8 months, havent had any problems at all
  20. Wot would u guys recommend, Ive got a few choices either denson 650cc, sard 650cc or nismo 600cc I am aiming at 320-340kw?

Ohh ok. the reason I asked is cause sard make a 650cc injector but they have an oval plug so its not just a direct replacemnt u have to change the plugs to make them fit, where as the denso 650cc injector has the square plug which is a direct replacemnt, how could this be if there all denso injectors?
