I am getting a popping noise comming out of my exhaust from 5000rpm to redline. it kind os sounds like boost cut or reav limiter. I am only running stock boost. wat possibly culd this be.

I spoke to my mechanic today and he said that its normal for rb's to do this. Its because the turbocharger is hot and the water sits there and boils as the car is stopping. I jus dont understand y it has only just started happening

After driving i get a bubbling noise from the water line that connects the turbo to the plenum. does anybody know why this is as i cant find any leaks

Jus thought id let u all know a water pump can be done with out taking the timming belt off. Took me about 3.5 hours to do I will post a tutorial up

Gotta do a water pump. I have to change mine today. Any information would be great.

Its cool got it sorted it was the water pump leaking out the little hole underneath it n running down around the sump.

Theres coolant leaking from around my sump does ne body know WTF dis is about is there a drain point there or sumthing. theres no water in the sump cas the oil is fresh and looks like oil. Its on a r32 gtst running a RB20

Yeh it has a aftermarket bov That vents to the atmophere. I hav jus cleand the afm as it was covered in oil and black shit due to turbo blowing. havent tried yet also found that there was moisture around the coilpacks.

Does any body know if a rough idle can be caused by leaking intercooler pipes. Because my 32 is idle ing up n down between 500-2000 on and off. and if u hold it on around 2500 it has a miss occasionally. Can stale fuel cause this also as my car has been sitting for the last 3 months. any held wuld be great.

Has anyone ever had any problems with the water line for the turbo leaking from the back of the motor above the gear box. If anyone knows anythin bout how to tightn the dam thing with out taking the motor out please say so.Its on a R32
