  1. As much as I'd like to attend, I'm really not sure if I can make it. So I'm 50/50 atm.

    Damn Computers

For the h4x0rs out there .. Knoppix STD is where it's at.
  3. Yepo I got the same thing. Got an email about a pvt message then go to read it on the forums and got this... Your administrator has disabled private messaging. Give me a PM and tell me WTF's going on? heh.
  4. I enjoyed every bit of it, at least I remembered the sunscreen and didn't get burnt. I'll be looking forward to the MSC IV. Suprised none of those bikes didn't knocked off on some of those corners.

    She's Here!

Nice buy for $7200, I wonder if I could get a 4 door for the same price? I'm sure you'll be having lots of fun preparing it for registration.

    Number Plates

I bent my front number plate on my wifes old r31 cause the damned thing took up too much space in the air dam. I was questioned about it a few times but just said it was in a car acident and the pannel shop didnt fix it.. Police never said anything about it after that. It doesn't hurt to tell little white lies occasionally.
  7. Yeah they looked like they were in a bit of a hurry to get up to the car park. Had a pretty good time, got bored in the bwcp after after 30 mins, then soon after being at fingal got bored again, then the cops made an appearance so that was a good time to leave. On the way home we stopped off at Mudgeraba to get some fuel and then went up to The Panorama @ Tallai, nice view, got a few good pics then left for home. Roughly between Helensvale and Comera there were a few wankers about doing the street racing thing and a some cops hiding on the side of the road. Saw 45EXN [think thats right] cruising on the way home, thats a nice car!
  8. As far as cheap UHF radio's go .. You get what you pay for, cheap rubbish with less than 100m range. The GME TX 6000 are good for a handheld radio and far better than any of the uniden range. Me personally, I prefer a commercial grade of radio, Standard Communications GX 2000-U, or a Tait T2020 with 25 watts of RF punch [my ears must be huge hey BelGarion], though I use the GX 2000 more often as it more robust. Expect to pay $600 for a Tait and around $1000 for a [sC] GX 2000.
  9. I think it's safe to put me down as a definite attendee now.
  10. One of my mates will no doubt let me know you guys are on the move to the next location, so I'll make my way back to meet up again and cruise with you lot.
  11. You can put me down as a maybe. I think I'll skip the bwcp and meet up with ya's later.
  12. I'll come up for a look, but unfortunatley wont be able to cruise. I'll also have my trusty UHF radio with me tooo! Kryz.. Bring those CD's with you please! Just recently I had to replace my alternator, computer & CAS, quoted nissan for the parts $3500 from japan. Got the alternator and CAS form thewreckers & the computer form a mate instead.
  13. Ok so you guys will be on UHF.. What channel? As with those cheap H/H's you can always use an external antenna to increase your range somewhat. Buy an RFI 6dB antenna, that pretty much doubles your range! Just thought of something else.. have a look around for either a commercial H/H or mobile radio as these more commonly have 100ch plus so you can not only have UHF CB but you can also have the police and other emergency services to listen to. The most popuplar commerial radio's to go for are: Mobile: Philips FM900 - 91 or 92 series 100ch (200ch switchable eprom(remote or local unit)) Philips / Simoco PRM 8030 200ch (remote or local unit) Philips / Simoco PRM 8040 200ch (remote unit) Tait 2020 100ch (remote or local unit) All the above have 25w RF output as compared to 5w RF output for a standard UHF CB. Hand Held (H/H) Philips / Simoco PRP80 100ch Philips / Simoco PRP85 100ch Tait Orca 100ch
