how was the service? Did items arrive on time, in tact etc?

the car was only tuned on ultimate 98 + some octane booster to reduce pinging. I was advised that I should try to use some octane booster every fill, more as a safeguard than anything. Might try a few fills without and see if the knock level increases at all.

Who uses octane booster here? I use Wynns, 1/2 a bottle every fill, and use it every time I fill. Just wondering if this is a bit of overkill? Also, has anyone heard of octane booster doing any damage, besides the black soot it blows out?

did the same after browsing this thread. Good fast response from GTRgeoff. As an aside, are they fairly straight forward to fit, or leave it to the pro's?

Bending the plate is tacky imo. A Neat trim looks much tidier. On the rear bar, 3/4 polycarb plate is literally 2-3mm to wide, I believe you can move the reverse lights outward a touch to solve this, then its a snug fit.

know its a bit early for summer but want to get it sorted now before it heats up. Anyone know where I could take my R32 to have the a/c compressor replaced, 3 places i took it last summer all said "sorry mate, we dont do imports" ...such a lame-arse comment

sold mine about 6 months ago with 95% tread Nexens for $1200. Average condition.

my gt-r got here through 101 on time & on budget. Can thoroughly reccomend them for performace mods too, whether it be a pod filter, through to a full build.

anywhere in Perth other than Fibrevision, Works & X-Speed that would have carbon Fibre bonnets to suit 32 GTR? Kinda need one in a hurry and cant wait for one from the east.

Hey mate - welcome. Stick with what you have for now, perform the usual breathing mods, perhaps a computer (money permitting), a decent tune and your GTS will be plenty quick, especially if its your first real taste at a performance car. If its a manual, still think they quote about 0-100ks in just under 8 secs out of the factory, so some small mods would easily see it quicker than your 'SV6, XR6, VRX' brigade. Good luck anyway!

90 R32 GT-R 138'000ks unopened R34 N1's, PFC, Dual SBC, a/m exhuast & dumps, filters 401 rwhp @ 1.4bar on Top Racing dyno, backed out due to old engine No idea where dyno sheet is - but N I B will vouch (as he tuned it)

nah no imports101 channel im afraid. drmafia - bring who ever dude, the more the merrier...certainly wont be cramping anyones style or anything. As mentioned, its an open cruise. A sensible driving attitude is all that's required
