lately Ive noticed that every freaking body has got huge cannon style mufflers, hanging out the back. Over the weekend, I saw a bunky Gemini with one, an Excel with hubcaps, a Daihatsu Applause, a Telstar, and then....the icing on the cake...A VP Commo...all with big, shiny cannons. Problem is, Ive got one on my GTR, and Im now seriously thinking of changing to the no-nonsense style, 4" straight, plain black pipe, because the cannon simply has no more street cred left (imo). Exhaust tips may not mean squat to some, but I rate it. Is anyone else getting tired of the sight of cannon styles everywhere?

Going to have a pair of stock gtr huffers available within the next week. Done 130'000 klms, never had boost increase. $350ea. Will post some pics of condition when they're out. pm me if interested

Keep the GTR, spend the money, that you would otherwise be spending on fixing the 13b, on your house.

Yeah a meet up sounds good. Seems there's been a recent influx of them, reckon it'd be a good idea, have a sticky beak at what others got! Im in same boat as you, car's in the shop for turbo upgrade, but in 2-3 wks, will be all ready.

sorry to dig up this old thread, but (Steve) it's clear the Wolf can produce some serious horsepower #'s, but for the everyday driver (like me) with just mild mods (N1's + 1 bar boost), is it suitable? Im awaiting the install of my V4 plug-in, but keep hearing stories that they're a pig on cold-starts & idle. Is this an old fault, or as a result of bad tuning?

its weird, it has a changer control panel, integrated into the center console (all factory). The head unit itself must be switched off before the stacker will work!

thanks mate, it is in very good nick! Even has these weird factory knee rests that are quite comfortable when hard cornering!!

My HICAS light keeps coming on after about 15 minutes of normal, straight highway driving. I had the rear HICAS bar replaced as it was bent, but the light still appears. The steering feels ok, but is a little notchy when you turn the wheel either way. Im going to take it to Wilkinsons the next time Im in Perth, but in the meantime, anyone got an idea what it may be, or experienced similar?

My gtr came with the factory 10 stack Sony stacker, and original factory head unit. I want to ditch the head unit in favour of a newer Sony MP3 / CD player, but want to know whether Id still be able to hook up and use the stacker? Cheers.

djr - Danny can pretty much source and fit anything you require, he's got a fully functioning workshop facility Godzil_R - so far, Ive spent around 23K, fully licensed, complied etc.

Imports101 did all the compliance etc. I'll recommend them thoroughly. Haven't got the N1's as yet, got Imports101 looking in Japan atm, so as soon as they're here, I'll update!

Hey ppl, just a quick few shots of my gtr, which I finally picked up over the weekend. All is good, except the chipped paint on the front bar, expect it was as a result of boat trip, as it wasn't in original pics. But apart from that, it's wicked, lorrve the sound of the RB at full noise....simply awesome. Currently back in the garage getting r34 N1's, bigger injectors and tuned to around 1 bar, so should be back on the streets again real soon!

Just wondering if anyone knows how to get that wicked 'flutter' sound, when backing of the throttle on a turbo. Im not sure, but I think it may be the wastgate? Or is it a particular type of BOV? Heaps of tough VL RB30's do it, specially that yellow Bresciani racing monster!

Thats bullshit. Some of the best Skylines in the country run Wolf ECU, so where you come up with that comment is a mystery.
