Yer that was me in the 34 I am a member here but I don’t come on here much.
yer it goes ok for now, better soon it has 239rwkw @.8bar. yer my zaust is small but is a twin 2,1/4 system off the front pipe no mufflers
don’t no what actuator spring is in it but the lowest boost that it will let me run without the controller is 12psi (standard actuator line)
i have a Hks boost controller
yer i have a trust fmic and power fc and all the other stuff.
have checked actuator lines for leaks also put the little standard hose back on still the same.
Thanks for your help guys will try bov and also look to see if the actuator is rubbing.
Hi guys last week I upgraded my turbo and I had it tuned yesterday and they found that it is not holding boost.
Basically they set the boost to 17psi and it drops straight away down to 13.5. Then comes back up to 16 then back down and keeps on dropping down to 12psi. that’s with my boost controller but it also does the same without the controller.
Does anyone have any ideas?
The turbo is a trust TD05 18g
Hi I am looking for a bodykit for my r34 I was thinking or a Uras kit or something in that style but I cant find anything anywhere. Does anyone no of any places that stock these in Australia ?
year thanx
did you have an electronic boost controller when you had that done
i have looked at the TD06 20g and their is not much difference between it and the TD05 18g. but the TD06 would have a lot more lag.
^^^^^^^
So it I able to make the sort of power that I am after then.
how responsive was it?
Was it nice to drive?
I just want it for drifting so i want minimum lag that is why I was going for the smaller turbo over the bigger.
I have a mate that has a TD06 25g and it is to lagy for what I would like. I have been also told that their I a guy over in Victoria with a GTT with the same set up as mine and he is producing 270rwkw on 1.2bar.
Hi I have been looking at upgrading my turbo with something that will just bolt straight on. I am looking for around 260rwkw. But I want to keep the lag right down to a minimum I have been looking at a Trust TD05 18g. I just want to no if anyone else has used these turbos before or no of anyone who has and what results they have had.
My car is a R34 skyline
thanx
Just want to no if it would do any damage running a 33gtr on 2wd.
Also what is the easiest way to do it? (just by taking the fuse out or is their some other way)
Hi guys I have an r32 skyline and lately it has been playing up.
The main problems are:
High idle about 1400rpm (idle screw all way in)
Turns itself off
Sometimes wont let you rev above 2500rpm sounds like it is on the rev limiter (happening more and more)
While that is happening the idle goes up and down between 1000 and 2200rpm continuously
I have tried
Different computer
Different AFM
Crank angle censor
Has anyone got any ideas on what it could be your help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
