  1. hey mxtcy what i meant, the locator, which was made for my 19's stayed on, so when i put my stock wheel on... the wheel never huged the hub properly. i was just comparing that to spacers which would be 'long term'. however i know of people with spacers, that even drift on them no probs... unfortunatly i can't afford to take the risk
  2. when i put my stockies back on my car. i didnt know my 19s had a little plastic ring that sat next to the hub and inside of the bolt holes on the wheel, mechanic called them "locators"... anyways, i bolted my stockie on tight! and drove it on the highway, and then to vicroads (clear a defect ) leaving vicroads, i noticed a wobble, pulled over, and i could nearly shake my wheel off, nuts pretty much just fell out... scarey shit, lucky i noticed it before i got back on the highway... so with that in mind, spacers with highspeed, heavy brakeing and sideways... i'll leave my wheel 3mm closer to the car!

  7. wheels are buckled?? cost around $60 each to get them rolled if they are
  8. in vic its a $107 fine if you get done.... if you get this fine 3 times, then you gotta go to court.. ive had no toruble with the coppas in the last 8 months...
  9. hey guys. looking to buy a dump pipe for the line... so far my exhuast consists of a 3" front pipe, 3" cat, and the rest is big. but i still have the stock dump. just wanted to know is it better and if so by how much and why, to get a split dump over just a larger dump. because i have the choice over a 3" dump pipe or those split ones on ebay.. (do you guys rate them???) my car will never exceed 200 rwkw cheers David
  10. i was around at the start when this whole turbotech craze began... except now my cars running fine n dandy! I'll vouch for the 'almost no spiking' I've already made two of my mates buy one!
  11. hey dean where abouts you from??? im from vic, so that means you can legally drive a r32t but not r33t. i have a r33 gtst... theres heaps of people probably too many (on their P's) with them. what ever skyline you get... theres probably a high chance that its gonna end up over the limit anyways. if you drive a skyline with a [P] plate, your gonna get pulled over. most of then time, the coppas dont get you for the over power thingo, let alone illegal mods. if your lucky
  12. haha. when i cleaned my AFM i used CRC contact cleaner. didnt need much, endded up taking it back. scored $20. booya i cleanded it too much, long story short. my car was running better when the AFM was dirty (as my car was rooted). so for no reason i decided to try dirty it again... used everything i could find under the sun, as long as it was spray-able. however it wouldnt go dirty again. anyways got my initial problem fixed and now the car runs fine, with my poor attempts to dirty the AFM.... id clean it again if i didnt have to go back to the shop to get a can of cleaner
  13. you should be able to bend them back, otherwise just relocate!
  14. the car pours out the smoke on idle, its black. the only reason i say manifold gasket, is because i can hear a high pitched air leak sound right at the front of the plennum, i dunno if thats normal, but i couldnt hear it on my friends car. im gonna send the car to mechanic sometime soon, ive had enough playing around with it. hopefully it wont cost too much to have the gaskets replaced. but im sure the dude will have a look aroudn and see what needs to be done.
  15. the afm and the connections are all good and working... unfortunatly not in my favour, as my car sees the air now and floods my engine
  16. im in no need of wheels anymore picked up some s14 wheels - $160 (really couldnt be botherd bargaining) and 2 pairs of good quality rubber, 2nd hand with +95% tred for $260 (fitted and ballenced to the wheels to!) so im happy..... thanks for the offers tho guys Dave
  17. "car fussy with AFM" doesn't equal lazy. however being currently unemployed is. reason to why i don't have money, also reason why its taken so long for me to get car fixed. i wish it were a simple pipe leak. but i beleive its a intake manifold gasket.. question was purely about the AFM and it was answerd. i have no intension to come out as a smartarse, you have been on SAU longer and you are also older, so i must respect that. sorry jono
  18. my cooler piping is fine, it was the first thing i checked. cheers paul. or anything else that i could get my hands onto. mr mafia, wtf. maybe you could send your grandmar over here so she can lift out my engine. see now that would be somewhat helpful. hehe, you spend your time bitching about me. and then you say im whinging. goodone jono...
  19. Item: R33 ECU chipped Location: Melbourne ish Item Condition: It works fine! Reason for Selling: Bringing car back to stock Price and Payment Conditions: $150 + postage Extra Info: This ECU by RS YAMAMOTO can be used on both series 1 and series 2 Manual R33 GTS- T. The ECU is pretty much identical (in looks) to the stock, bolts strait on, except one of the main chips inside is slightly larger, 'possibly' removable and tune-able. From what i know of this ECU theres no speed limiter or rev limiter. so yes your car will go quicker and rev harder then if you had the stock ECU (if you want it to ) This ECU is pretty much a stock ECU, but without rev / speed limiters. kinda handy sometimes..... Contact Details: Any questions feel free to PM me, or call on 0402914842 Regards, David
  20. leaks i mean, exhaust and intake.... i don't mind if it has to stay there for days, im in no 'need' of a car. i just need someone who can fix it.
  21. hi guys. i live in a hole called Moe. its about an hour and a half drive from city melb. now i was hoping if any of your guys could help me find a good decent mechanic, thats not too far away from me... so in other words at least 30-45 mins east of the city.... my car is running bad, i have leaks every where. and the money situation isnt so good either. so a reliable, cheap and close mechanic would be very helpful!!!
  22. hehe yea i know... fixing leaks cost money , and i also need someone to do it, which would require me to drive my car for at least an hour to a decent mechanic, and im not sure if thats good for the health of my car.... as it just pours black smoke out of the back. but you have answered my question for now... so thanks cheers
  23. hehe MANWHOR3 i took the easy way out and found another similar nut.... the one i lost doesnt' rattle or anything.. so my problems are solved
  24. yea theres severe leaks, before and after the engine, its not good at all... as i said car running bad. bad = 3/10.... that was with a dirty stock afm, any ecu (both arnt stock, but close enough to it) with my friends AFM or my now cleaned one, its running really bad 1/10. i just don't know why the good AFM's don't like my car??
  25. hey guys. my car (r33 gtst) isn't runing so good. i swaped my stock AFM with a mates R33 (green lable, that works fine in his car) AFM, and it makes my car run like garbage, the car doesnt idle right, won't even go past 3k rpm in seccond gear. not good to drive at all i cleaned my dirty AFM with eletrical contact cleaner, and now my car runs just like it did with my friends AFM. whats the go?? i have 2 ecu's and they both dont like my friends AFM or my now cleaned AFM.
