hey guys... thanks for the replys.... baught the AFT top-up, 10 fini. IS there any way of bleeding the fluid and how to.... coz id prefer to have the new good stuff flowing around. and im sooooo sorry mr PHATR32 for taking up too much of your precious time, and im also sorry for failing to appreciate GODs abilities.

My power steering fluid is nearly all gone, the bottle/reservoir has leaked but ive heard r33's do this??? just wanted to know what fuild to use on a r33 gtst! cheers

yea, at my primary skooll we had a book of little schoolyard games. we had painted squares on the ground, most of them were 4 or 6, and we had them ranked king,queen jack. downball was played against a wall... we never used tennis balls tho, big bouncy dodgeball type ones, to make the f**kers run! my favourite was 'kick the can' i wished we played them still maybe there should be a SAU schoolyard game special day, for big kids!

hi all i wanted to check,seal,replace the gasket between the intake manifold and the chamber. i got as far as removing the throttle body... how would i go about taking the manifold of??? the nuts/bolts on the left side seem easy enough, however its the right side of it thats stumpt me. any know? -Dave-

the only crack i found was the hose on the plumback side of the bov, so i replaced that. Car ran a little better since...

hey thanks for all the replys... when my car was running "good" it was pushing 150rwkw with a big catback, fmic (restricted by very tight mesh infront), stock boost and a turbosmart plumback bov. one day i decided to boost my car with a poor mech boost controller.... according to my dodgy boost gauge at 3k it was sitting on 6-7 psi and the at like 4.5k it spiked to 10-11psi. very quickly! after setting it back to normal, stock, 'safe' boost... im still getting the stalling (which ive tried to help by increasing the idle)... since then the problems gotten worse as stated above! ActionDan: i can hear a small leak under near the intake manifold, i don't know if this it normal or not, however its not loud enough for me to locate it. jwah: sounds the same except the idle is crap, so there is no regular note. last time i drove it HEAPS of black smoke comes out when you put the boot into it... exhaust tip is all black and it collects onto the back of my car even Rhett: its an olderr turbosmart type3 plumb-back, it works fine on my mates car. mmm gtst: cars got no pettrol in there at the moment, but i dont drive it coz its sick. it was still playing up when it had over a 1/4 tank in. not keen putting it in as last time i did... 15 litres only got me 35k's i wish i could find the time to look at this car, id even be happier if i had the money to send it to a mechanic... oh wel...

Hi guys. before i had problems.. i used to hear a loud induction noise and then the BOV would let of a high pitched whistle when driving.. now i barely hear the induction noise and the BOV only lets out a puff. im left with stalling, hardly any boost, unstable speeds and shuddering when slowing down. does anyone know waht could be wrong, anything that comes to mind would be appreciated! -Dave-

oh thanks guys. its just my mates R33 Manual has it with wires.. and my car is running like garbage at the moment... i thought maybe that had sumthing to do with it

Hi everyone while looking at my engine, i noticed that theres a little black box attached to the thottle body... yet there were no wires goign to it. what is it and is it bad if its not talking to my car?? heres a pic:

at a glance id say roughly 364.35325345 rwkw depending on colour of car.. if red... might have to add 12 more and considering the brakes arn't slotted... youd wanna compensate. im surprised it doesn't have any air-freshener mods... tragic but because it doesn't have PETROL listed i wouldn't say it has any power at all... to be exact

hey mate how many ks you got on it? whats the overall condition of the car? many scratches, dints and what not?? i have a Black 94' R33 turbo type m with nice 19's fmic, zorst, 109,xxx ks, turbosmart bov, air filter, panasonic cd, momo steer, clutch, alarm, sunroof, turbotech bc (i have a turbosmart 2 stage and a profecA ebc), a few more things pm if your interested im looking for a car that doesnt get as much attension (im on P's), and im in need of money!!! as i said pm if interested rgds, Dave

turning boost up wouldnt cause the car to stall would it? also i can adjust my bov to make it soft or harder, would that help my problem a little?? -Dave
