hey guys i finally got mine... off ebay... took over a week and apparently the dudes gonna refund me, he even sent it express too.. took ages. anyways before i got mine, i played with the old one and now sumthing is f**kd up... but the new one feels a lot better than the old one did! hopefully my turbo isnt dead, and i find out whats wrong.. then i can boost it up (and not break it!) cheers not so fancy... but works

hey havn't had time to muck around with it, coz i got exams round this time. took the car for a drive, still pretty pissed with it! its a bitch to drive without the power. it has virtually no boost after 100kph and the car stops pulling in 4th gear at 4000rpm ish. boost before that is petty. my bov makes a totally different noise, its more a woooosh then the ppsssshhiii it used to be. would that be a sign of a leak? or is my turbo dead? i got a new boost controller today, and i poped it on. it does a better job than my last one, more responsive and smoother. my car nearly has a chance to beat a commo now. thanks for the help, 'elite forse' ? ill give your first idea a go when i get the time, and ill clean my filter, my roads dont do it any favor. cheers

hey all seeing as though the race that stops the nation wassnt till this afternoon. i was bored. im getting a new boost controller soon, but i wanted to play with the one currently in my car, see the affects, if my new one will be any better and what not. the boost controller i have now is a old skool turbosmart duel stage one, but the circut to switch to the bigger valve doesnt seem to work (cant be botherd fixing it, no circuit, broken switch) and the 'always on' side doesnt allow much boost. i unscrewd the 'always on' valve and according to my boost gauge, it maxed out at .8 bar ish and min was around .3bar ish upuntill today ive been running .5 bar, and the car has an xhaust, fmic and a turbo smart type 3 (plumback) bov. i got over the boosting and put it all back to normal (well .4bar) except now my car stalls when ever you rev it, coming off the accelerator. and it takes a while to get back to idle, nearly stalling each time - i thought maybe my turbo is blown (hope not!) - maybe its the bov ( but i thought plumback never had the atmospheric issues, altho problem is much like having an atmosphric bov!!) - the boost controller is broke, or the boost isnt set right (didnt think it would be too much of a problem, as it stalls even when above .5bar) - when i turn the a/c on, it doesnt stall. wel it helps keepin the revs up) have any of you experienced this?? or know whats going on with my car?? any help would be much appreciated!! - Dave -

im still not clear about whether Ethanol is good for the car. i remember they put it in a lot of petrols and damages engines. theres new 'cheaper' petrol with ethanol (<10%) 98 otcane.. i just want to know, is this stuff any good??? or should i stay away. if i could afford ultimate, i woudnt ask these questions...

hey guys sorry about the sh*t post but i wanted to know if there were many country jap import owners out there i live in moe (very east east of melb), small town, 1 traffic light,more cows than people ect. people think im driving a spaceship, an old lady actually once quoted that takes me an hour and a half to get to melb cbd. anyone else live in the sticks? if so where abouts? what you drive? where do you go to meet other boosting hillbillys? cheers

im gonna buy one. ill see how it goes. i have two boost controllers: a profec a, was in a plastic bag in the glove box when i baught my car. the sellers husband said that it was in jap and that he wassnt able to tune it or some thing liek that????? and a turbo smart old skool duel stage boost controller, the seller said its set at stock and 12 psi.... however when i flick the switch theres really no difference,,,, so im assuming somethings broke, havnt had time to look at it. anyways, ill tak the easy way out and get this little thingy... hopefully it doesnt spike liek it says it doesnt... very hard to beleive tho. wish me luck

hey guys not bothering me too much, but when i start my car (when the engines cold) the power steering is jolty and kicks in every seccond or so. and also the belts (im assuming) make a slipping noise, which are longer/louder noise depending how cold the engine is. is it just a case that things need to heat up, or should i have a further look at it. cheers

yea bank cheque is always the best to go! there pretty safe! on the vic roads form, the seller and buyer writes in an agreed value. its got how much the tax n stuff costs on the form for the cars value but if the buyer is nice, and wants to save money, and you too i think. just put in a lower 'reasonable' price. otherwise they fine you if you do. so dont get caught my friend baught a 18,000 dollar land cruiser, and on the form he wrote that it was worth 4,500. saved lots of money bit risky tho.

This moring driving to skool. i wanted to test mine out. got her up to 8100rpm in seccond and then it cut out completely. mind you this is with stock everything, except filter, cooler n xhaust. however my cars been messed with, ive had it up to 220+kmph. however i drive my other mates car (r33) and i had got confussed because i didnt know why the power cut out at 7ish, wel now i know! cheers

hey guys hmm, the concept looks pricey!! you wouldnt realy want to put it on the track, hell i woudnt want to take it out of the wrapping. its a rich old mans car to me.... for now i will focus on a r34. at least its still a skyline... by the way is it true that its not a 6, anyone know any engine specs??
