Hehe your real name is super tim? what do you expect to get when you say you want a GTR, let alone an r34. and your on your P's... you not making a good impression of the younger guys to the grownups@! i think im 'kool, wikid and awsem' enough to be driving my car... but you have to consider petrol is expensive, insurance is a bitch, the list goes on if you dont have a commo. which is why i dont have insurance but thats ok, because i dont have any money for petrol either. come to think of it, a poster of a skyline in my garage would have been much cheaper. by the way, funkymonkey you had me at "BBQ" :lol:
  2. clean off hey... only 4 bolts, can't be too much trouble then. ive seen the one in the wheel arch, it kindly grinds my tyre away every now and then hmm vn.... can't say ive seen many commodores on the road thanks for the help anyways, ill look at it when i find the time cheers, dave
  3. hello everyone. id like to replace the mesh on my front bar, or at least tighten the bolts as its getting loose. ive got a 94 r33 gtst type m i really cant see where the bolts are located. does anyone know where they are and how many there is??? whats the best way to do it and is there anything else i have to remove in order to take it off??? thanks a lot, Dave

Hey guys while driving my car, i noticed that i could smell petrol. now i hadnt smelt this before and it was the frist time i drove the car today. i drove for a little while and it had seem to have gone away at first i thought it was just me, how ever when i got home i noticed there were some puddles in front of the car when i looked under the car i noticed that it was all wet jsut behind the engine, drivers side. deffinetly smelling like petrol. so i poped the hood and found that on the drivers side next to the engine, there was petrol everywhere. im assuming that the hose under this has cracked or may be loose, but i dont know for sure then i started the car, and as i was trying to take a photo with my phone, i got a mouthfull of 98 octane!! now i know why it costs so much, its soo yummy!!!! anyways, what do you think i should do, can it be fixed. will it take much effort?? any help would be much appreciated! thanks guys -Dave-
  5. haha, im sure every one here says skyline im from melb, wel country really, melb is 2 hours away! i got an r33 lightly modified for cheap. i was goign to go stock, and mod it, but i dont have the time (school) or the money. i got the r33 coz it looked good and no one where im from had one. you want looks or performance, old car or older? get something no one else has last but not least, still assuming your a youngy aswel. think about insurance and the police. cheers, Dave
  6. hey fellas. in just reading about the speed cut. one lonely day on the highway, i wanted to test to see what this speed limiter did. ive ben in some cars where, the engine stop putting power to the wheels, and the rev gauge dies down quickly. however when i put my foot to the floor, the needle was pretty much verticle (bout 220 km/h), and the car didnt want to stop at all. so waht is that spose to mean? has the limiter been removed? i have 19's, iv'e heard bigger wheels can mess with it?? sorry to be off topic... rgds, Dave

Hi everyone! just crusin down to melbourne on the weekend, and seen a black r33. he seemed like a good bloke, so i wanted to know if anyone knows who he is black skyline, no kit, S2 spoiler, chromies, girlfriend had the number plate "tur806", took me a long time to work it out. we were on the princess highway too. thanks, Dave

  10. hey guys sorry with late replys. i havnt really had the time to think about whats gonna happen with my car. but something will be needed to be done. ive driven a range of skylines with the same mods, and none of them feel the same. weird. i would really love to have a PFC installed, but i have no money! which is a bum. i was thikning about getting a safc, so someone can tune it right. do yous think that would be a good idea? i had it dyno'd on a dyno day, so they werent too interested on the result or what was going on, but i was pretty dissapointed the intercooler on my car, looks dodgy. however its restricted a lot by the mesh that sitting in front of it, had trouble finding the time to take the front bar off. is it hard to take the front bar off?? also what would you use to clean an intercooler? when i want to 'boot' my car i prefer to do it in 8 psi than 12. it jsut feels better. however still empty, and boost comes on around 3.5 ish rpm i apologise for the bad attempt to explain all this. better go keep the teacher happy now thanks fellas. -Dave- ps. ruffels you car is a piece of ass
  11. hey TracidTrax. yea i know. ima country boy. i live 2 hours drive from anyone who knows what a car is, and possibly how to fix it. i would get a tune sooner but its hard enough with travell and the fact i still have to go to skool. how much do you think a tune up is going to cost me??? i know the dyno was poor, i will try to fix that figure!!! cheers, Dave
  12. hey SECUR1TY nices wheels.... oh and car too! yea i can do the o2 sensor easy enough, and the piggy back is questionable. are the safc's good? (assuming its all tuned right) i have heard all over the place they are really good or very bad. i really cant afford a PowerFC too. i also have another issue, its illegal for me to drive my car, i already have been done once by the boys in blue. however i was considered unlucky that day, because most r33 boys dont have too much trouble (im from vic by the way, on my P's) so im even considering selling my car, so i want to prevent needing to put money into the car. someone also suggested a fuel pump? yes , no? anyways have a good day. rgds, Dave
  13. hi how are you all. my name is David, and i drive an 94 r33 skyline turbo ive only had the car for a few months, so i havn't really got the chance to know it. the other day i decided to drive my lazy self to melb (i live country east of melb), to the rajab dyno day. the result was 148.5 rwkw the mods i have on the car are fmic (it has no name) it also has like a security door like mesh infront of it, something the previous owner put on hks air filter big jasma xhaust, im pretty sure its got a larger dump too turbo smart boost controller (at 8, 12 psi) - it was at 12 on the run turbo smart blow off valve my car is running rich aswel, sometimes i hear a backfire on the down shifts. to my surprise my friends r33 got 151.3 (with air filter, xhaust at 10psi) i have been meaning to get my car tuned, but i live so far out. any suggestions to what i should do? any help would be much appreciated!!! thanks a lot, fellas Dave
