  1. Hey guys I am chasing one (1) centre cap for a standard R32 wheel. I believe they are the same for bot GTS-t and GTR. Willing to pay a decent price. Please send a email or PM if you can help. Cheers Ross
  2. Original R32 Gtr Seatbelts Hey guys, I was hoping someone here might be able to help me source a genuine (factory delivered) set of R32 GTR seatbelts and related accesories. Yes I know you can't use them here in Aus for road registered vehicles etc etc but I am after them for a vehicle that won't ever be registered. Anyone here work for a compliancer of R32 GTR's. I imagine they would have boxes of them waiting to throw away. Thanks for any help Ross
  3. *** Genuine original Nissan 16 x 8 forged ones *** With or without rubber but with is preferred. Will pay a respectable price for decent ones with rubber. They don't need to be spotless but ones with gutter rash will receive a lower offer of course I am in Brisbane so SE QLD would be an advantage unless you can organise delivery at a good price. Just PM me. Thanks Wheels Mags Rims Alloys Round things at each corner.
  4. Hey Duncan I'm very keen if there are any left.

  7. With or without tyres. Will pay a decent price ~$800 for decent ones with rubber. Just PM me. Thanks Wheels Mags Rims Alloys Round things at each corner.
  8. thanks Ben, I just found this on another forum "Steering wheel turns the steering column which moves the steering rack. The rack ends are connected to steering rack on one side and tierod ends on the other. tie rod ends connected to wheel. So when the steering wheel turns wheels move with the help of the whole maze of parts mentioned before" I think the things you mentioned as rack ends might be Tie Rods. I assume Nissan call the "rack ends" "Tie Rods Inner" and the actual Tie Rods as "Tie Rods outer" Can anyone confirm this? See attached pic.
  9. Thanks for the tip Ronin. Any takers on what a Rack end might be. Or what a rack boot might be worth?
  10. Hi all, could anyone help with a supplier for rack boots for a R32 GTR (Although I think the GTS uses the same parts). Both of mine are split and I am going to have them replaced. Nissan at Petrie (QLD) want $65 each with I think is a little steep. Can someone confirm? I'm in Brisbane but I don't care where they have to come from as postage wouldn't be much. Also could anyone tell me what a "Rack end" is. My suspension guy reckons it wouldn't hurt to replace them as well but I have no idea what they are? Thanks guys
  11. Chalk another one up for working first go. Finally got a few hours free today to solder it up and test it out. Worked fine with all the software mentioned in the thread. FYI I didn't solder any of the pins in the consult connector. I just crimped them as they were designed to do. I actually found this to be the easiest part of the job. Thanks for the kit NewKleer.
  12. 12.9 at Willowbank a few weeks ago. 100K on the odo. Stock everything except for the exhaust. 4000 rpm launch - 13.6 4500 rpm launch - 13.2 5000 rpm launch - 12.9 I wasn't going to launch any harder with the stock clutch. It slipped enough at 5000.
  13. I have the entire race and presentation, about 5 hrs 20 mins in total, on a single DVD if anybody is interested in a copy. Quality isn't as good as a full spec DVD of course but better than VHS I would say. All edited up (no commercials) with chapters and menus etc. Works fine on my three DVD players. Will do for my cost ~ $5 inc delivery. PM me if you are interested. That is the Bob Jane T-Marts 1000 2004.

  17. Ahh.. another has seen the power of the K104 Here's another review I did some 4 months ago. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ntus+Sport+K104 I'm still very happy with the Hankooks - about 3k km on them now. Went for a run a month or so ago through the mountain ranges here in SE QLD (Mt Mee / Glorius) with some BMW boys. I wanted to see how the stocko GTR with the cheap rubber performed and was pleasantly surprised. In the dry I was following a E36 M3 with the Dunlop FM901's. The driver told me later he was pushing pretty hard, evening inducing understeer quite often. The GTR kept up no problem. The other fast car was a modified 325 with Dunlop Formula R's, huge harrop brakes, and a very experienced driver. Was able to keep up with out using my brakes very hard (they squeel so loud when pushed hard that I just didn't push them). K104's felt good the whole time. In the wet it was a different but better story. The K104's / GTR was in a totally different league. I am sure the AWD helped here a fair bit. I don't think Formula R's are real good on wet, windy, debris laden, mountain roads. I was actually backing off a lot to let them get away so I could have some fun catching up. Disclaimer - At no time was any speed limits broken. Sure we were doing 100kph around 40kph signposted corners but the speed limit 100kph on this road was never exceeded. Other rules we run by is to never leave your lane either (no short cuts). Oh yeah and not much traffic at 5:00am. I think we saw one other car in two hours. Back on track - The K104 is not the best tyre out there but it is the best value for money. P.S. There are many different types of Hankook Ventus tyres. The K104 is the top of the range. I have heard different reports on the K102's and K105's. No where near as good.
  18. Have a look here http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...2476492106&rd=1 Never seen one of these before. Has anyone here got any info? Ever used? Why would it be needed? Cheers
  19. Thanks wrxhoon. I was just draining the coolant from the little valve on the bottom of the radiator. I will have a look for this plug on the block to see if that drains more coolant out. Not sure what this " forn ex pipe " is, but I will have a look. Cheers
  20. Thanks Duncan, disconnecting the external temp sensor effectively tells the climate control unit that it is less than -30 degrees outside so no matter what setting the Climate control is set to it will always think it has to supply heat, hence the heater radiator valve will be open. (So I think). I think this might be my problem. I am unsure whether water flows through this heater raditator all the time and is only ducted when required. Can anyone confirm this. There must be someone out there who has changed the coolant in their 32 GTR
  21. Can anyone confirm for me the capacity of coolant required to flush the radiator completley? I thought it was around 9 litres but when draining it earlier today only 4 litres of coolant came out. For refilling I used another 4 litres and this filled it up. Took the car for a drive for about half an hour and the temp gauge didn't go past ther half way marker. I had the climate control on max (and disconnected the external temp sensor) so the heater core should have drained but even if it didn't it couldn't hold 4.5 litres. Just doesn't sound like the correct amount to me.

  23. I'm in for a full membership once a "go live" date is announced.
  24. I'd like to know who this dealer is. PM me please!!
  25. Thanks guys. I got them throught a small dealer in Aspley. Not sure if I am allowed to give them a plug so PM me if you want to know. I didn't shop around once I made the decision to go with the Hankooks so I'm not sure if you can get better prices or not. I know the 245/40/17 was a lot more expensive for the same tyre - around $240 I think.
