For Sale: '04 Ford Falcon BA MKII XR6 Turbo. 174,000 km's. 6 Speed Manual. Unmodified Family Car. Rego YHI-79C. Having had to sell my beloved R33, I purchased this car in Feb 2011 with 117,500 km's. It has been a very reliable Family car the entire time I have owned it. It is serviced regularly (every 8,000 to 10,000 km's) and has always been garaged both at home and at work. The interior is in excellent condition. It has all the usual features like A/C, Cruise Control, Airbags, ABS & Traction Control (this is last model Falcon in which Traction Control can be fully switched off) Power Windows & Mirrors, Trip Computer etc.. with everything working perfectly. It had a new clutch fitted in March 2015 (2 year warranty(have reciept)) and it was last serviced on 12/5/15, which included new spark plugs and a brand new set of coilpacks. The engine runs smoothly and the car is always run on 98ron petrol. It has a set of black 19" wheels and black badges as I wanted it to look better and standout from most other Falcon's you see on the road without going over the top. I also installed a boost gauge for piece of mind. I replaced the Intercooler shortly after buying the car as the original had some stone damage. The car has never been in an accident, however, it does have a number of stone chips (worst of them pictured) from general road use. It also needs 2 new front tyres. This is a great car and won't disappoint. Only selling because I now need a station wagon for family purposes. Please call, text or email me if you have any more questions. $11,000 ono. No Low Ball offers or Joyriders thanks. Cheers, Luke. 0438 481 354. <script cf-hash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> I may also consider Trades for a stock/lightly modified C34 Stagea with some cash my way. Pics Below...

What a Great Event!! A HUGE THANKS and CONGRATS to all those from all sides who organised and sponsored todays event. I was very glad and surprised to see that all 30 spots were filled. Not only that, but 28 of the 30 vehicles were both of Nissan's and Toyota's with only 2 other 'outsiders' competing Was also a fairly even spread of numbers between the 2 makes. Although I left halfway through the day, I'm guessing the rest of the day went off without a hitch? No mechanical failures? Can't wait to see the full list of dyno results and prize winners... Based on only seeing the 1st half of the day, this would be a fantastic anual event. I don't mean randomly having one whenever someone can be bothered organising it, I mean to make it an 'official event' held in the same month every year. I know this means that dedication will be required by a few people every year to organise it, but going on how sucessfull todays event was, it would be well worth it. It also shouldn't fall to the same people every year to organise it, unless they are happy too of course. I'll put my hand up already to help out for next year if it happens again... You know you've done something right when a Ford owner by choice is this keen about a JDM event!!!

Ah... I'm not a Facebook'er, which would explain why I didn't hear about that! Cheers...

So I take it that this is no longer really a Skyline Vs Supra thing? I'm just wondering if Skylines and Supras will be out numbered by other kinds of cars? Perhaps we should change the offical name of the event to something a little more fitting? I'm just thinking about the magazine writer/photographer. It wouild be a bit strange to have the title "Skyline vs Supra Dyno Day ACT" (or similar) only to have the article read that there were only 6 Skylines and 2 Supras in a field of 30 cars! I think it would just say to all the readers that there is no import/jap scene in Canberra or that the 2 respective groups are lazy and aren't interested in club events. Thoughts? Am I thinking about this too much? Maybe something like "Nissan vs Toyota" or "ACT Import Dyno Day" or "Canberra JDM Dyno Shootout"? I dunno. I just don't want it to reflect poorly on either the 2 main car clubs involved or the organisers. Anyway, can't wait for Sunday!

My brother has pulled out. Car is playing up. But I have given his spot to Miranda (James' Mrs.) so numbers will stay the same. She has very nice S14...

My bro (Leigh) might pull out as his car is playing up. But I'll have a replacement for him so we'll still have the same numbers...

For Sale: Greddy Type Rs Bov. Brand New, Never Used...
Frink replied to Frink's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Thanks RS4-S! After a quick search, there are actually plenty of adaptors for various cars on ebay... -
hhmmm... I've been in there before! Would be really cool to have the BBJ or Challenger in the background
-
Probably not... If anyone is thinking about this or is unsure because of work or whatever else, just pay up and reserve your spot. If the event is cancelled you'll get your money back (I assume?). If you pay up, then can't make it, perhaps you could make an arrangement with Ross so that you'd get your money back? Are we opening this up to anyone now? If so, I will post it on the FPV & XR Owners Club ACT website if given the OK. Also, has this been put on NS.com? Or the WRX forums? Perhaps we should if we want to get this off the ground? Thoughts?

No idea. Maybe one of the import websites can get them or even Greddy Australia? -
C'mon people! Your fellow SAUer's have gone to a lot of trouble getting this event organised. Show some support for SAU ACT and enter the Dyno Day. Only a couple of years ago something like this would have been fully booked by now. It'd be real shame if this was too fall through, seeing as there will be heaps of prizes and that one of the import magazines will be covering it! Good chance to get a happy snap of your car in a magazine!

Hey All, I have For Sale a brand new Greddy Type RS BOV. The spring is adjustable so you can choose how hard or soft it can be, which inturn will change the venting noise it makes. My brother bought it for his Supra a couple of years ago but he never got around to fitting it to his car. Its in brand new condition and comes with everything including a new gasket, 'T' piece's, nuts and bolts and an english instruction manual. Does not come with fitment adaptor. Thought I'd give local SAUer's a go at it 1st before putting it up in the For Sale thread. Asking $200. Firm. Prefer Pick Up. Contact Luke on 0438 481 354 or PM me. Cheers...

Righto... Last weekend was a disaster (duh!). Having 2 big name players out in the 1st 30min screwed up the whole game plan. Then players had to be moved which meant they were playing out of position and with only 2 on the bench it meant that people had to play for longer than they were supposed to. They actually did a great job all things considered. They were in front only up until 73min and conceded the last 2 tries with 2 min left on the clock. The cowboys only scored the match winner because the raiders made a mistake on a play which would have won them the game. The ban on exotic betting is a political decision. The government will be banning it at the end of the year cause they reckon it takes away from all footy codes and leaves the sports open to betting scandals and the like. The NRL brought it in early to gain the moral high ground over the AFL so they can say that they did it 1st... Your lucky your a nice guy, otherwise I wouldn't be associating with a filthy QLD'er
-
Well I've been a raiders membership holder for the past 3 years. I'm a dedicated supporter and still proudly wear my raiders gear around the place. Good on you Sin for putting up a different conversation topic. I f****** love the NRL...
