  2. i remember that night. it was absoultely huge! so many cars. then the cops shut down the whole suburb. we tried sneeking out the 'back' way but they blocked that entrance too! so we stood around for hours and just waited, all the while watching cars getting defected...

  14. Hope you got some more track time after your problem was sorted. I had a similar problem with my 33 at Wakie one trackday. The bigger the turbo or the more PSI you run on old in-take pipes, then the more likely it is that you will split a hose. Lucky for me mine wasn't too bad. I managed to drive home on it by not putting my foot down... It looked like a really wicked day for all involved. Made me wish I'd kept the Skyline But I knew that would be the case anyway. I'll get another one eventually Was also good to catch up with a few local SAUer's (past and present!)... So who won bragging rights until the next one happens?

  20. Why would you go to Sydney to get work for a Canberra based car? It will cost way more, probably have a longer waiting list and by the time you get home you've lost a % of the power you got in Sydney because Canberra is 750m above sea level! doesn't sound like much but it makes a difference. Fair enough for big stuff like what Sin just had i can see the sense in having it done by CRD or the like, but not for anything else... I'd go to Techworkz for most work on most cars. Mick is the man. Honest, on time and is very good at what he does. He just did some work for me on my new car, a car he is not familar with. He did the research, did the job and did a great job. I do recommend...
