i got quoted for a AP Engineered Power FC with HC and it was less than that for my R32 GTS-t and i have it writing with the rest of the quote i got. But yes you can source them cheaper as i have found the out the last couple of days :uh-huh: But for all you guys that can get this GB, go it you lucky BUGGERS

yeo know where your coming form, bought an oil catch tank and it has rust on the piping inlets and the welds hadn't been finished. Ended up making my own which is what i should of done in the first place :uh-huh:

i take it AP version is different then????

well thats why i was trying to find out some info on this and see where the best place is to buy one for my R32 gts-t and what should i be looking for in the package???

all mods are done bar a FMIC and the ECU upgrade, so its not a matter of price, its a matter of tune ability and getting the best possible set up out of the car with the mods i have done to get the power that i am looking for.

yeah very curious as well to see how this one turned out!!!!

Yeah i here what ya saying Sydneykid and cheers for the reply. I was talking to the local place that i got a quote off and he said that the Apexi Power FC unit that they get in is not capable of deleting the AFM, does this sound right??? :confused: I was also quoted $1050 to me in Tassie with the H/C

yeah i realise it doesn't have a LSD and i really want to know the limiations that people keep talking about mainly for the R32 gts-t, that was kinda the point with this thread really, as i read so many others and none really covered that point at all.

i have a locked diff at the mo and was planning on getting rid of it but now that i want to get into drift that will be staying there. The Power FC i would be install is for a Rb20 so this shouldn't cause any problems with that should it paulr33???

cheers for the post, just one thing though what are you basing the loss of the HICAS on??? I know a couple of people with Power FC set ups in there R32's and none of them have said anything about HICAS loss??? And to tell you the truth i dont really need/want the HICAS as im building this up as a drift car :uh-huh:

I can see both sides of this argument and neither of you are going to back down, which is fair enough. Im in the same boat as elbee as i have been taken for a ride before over the internet and will only do 100% COD with anything in the future. As for not being able to find a cooler for the price you are selling them for, i bought a HYBRID copy from Repco for $299 and the piping cost me $180 to put onto my mates R32 and will be doing the exact same thing for mine. The tuner could not tell the difference and it does the job just as well as any other copy out there and at the end of the day it probably comes from the same place. These GB's are great and i was going to buy a kit from one of these but it was going to cost that little bit extra for me with freight living in Tassie, so did a little bit of research and got a good end result. WOuld ofl iked to support people on SAU and other sites but at the end of the day its the best bang for your buck in my book. From day one the seller has been straight up with my q's and always got back to me with no fuss and after talking with lots of SAU members that have delt with him in the past im sure i would of bought a kit off him if i needed too.

NO its not pretty easy, i have already searched the forums and had a read of the "sticky" at the top of the page with the E-management. What i want to hear is peoples feedback on both, so before you go and try and be a smartarse and post in one of my threads read the question first, i want to know what people think, pro's and con's of what people have experienced with either one.
