  1. Ok so just want to hear everyone's opinions really. Im looking at upgrading from a stock ECU in my R32 RB20 and playing with the idea of either of these really. Obvisouly the pro's and cons of each and what have you found out with each one. At the moment the GReddy E-management looks better as its a cheaper option but want to get as much out of my car as possible and now as im building it up for drift i want to have tune ability as well without causing mega head aches. Cheers in advance for any reply's
  2. Yeah very interested in getting my CAMS as well so i can get into racing maybe??? Although after the weekend maybe have to get into drifting instead!!!
  3. Not going into it with you man. Once i back off the throttle for the wastegate to close and the BOV open i still can't hear the BOV at that boost level. If i shift before the wastegate open then i can hear it but that is under 10psi and under 4200rpm where the wastegate/high boost kicks in.
  4. And if you read the original post that is from it says get something that does not require much work to install them, and after playing around with 4 different type of 6" speakers (all require little mods to fit the front doors) brackes dont require lots of work. You use the existing speaker mount that is there for our template and then use the desired mdf (eg 10-12mm) to make new ones. May require to take a little out of the door itself (although not always necessary if you think about what your doing). None of this i can see takes a lot of work. All in all about 2 hours to make alter original pods to make custom ones up, run your cabling and mount speakers. And thats for someone that doesn't work in the industry or have much background with car stereo install. So coming back and saying that its very wrong, back it up with proof and im the first to admit that i am. But if you read the post it says with minimal work and most 6" speakers be it coaxles or splits will go into the front doors with a little work. You want something that is going to win comps and turn heads then its a different story.
  5. I have an aftermarket BOV on my gts-t but blown if i can here it over the external waste gate anyway :jump: Now a wastegate going to atmosphere, you can't get a tougher sound than that in my book, no matter what BOV your running on your car :Pimp2: And from what i've heard and read stock BOV's are the best :uh-huh:
  6. post up a couple of pics of your engine bay and front bar with clearance (if you can) and we will have a look. Im in the middle of helping a mate do his R32 gts-t at the moment and there are a couple of different options you can take with piping, it all comes down to your budget really???
  7. yeah im still undecided as its a daily driver and get some very funny looks from people when slow driving in the middle of town and i dont really like the idea of my tyres skipping all the time when turning slow corners wearing them out even faster than normal!!!
  8. Looks pretty good man, congrats on in the install. Keep is posted with your development and keep them pics coming :Pimp2:
  9. yep, and im sure that the way this thread is going that it wont be long before someone does something along the lines of inspecting a MAGIC cat. If it wasn't so close to the weekend and i didn't live so far away i would buy one just to get it inspected so i can see if people are getting ripped off there hard earned money or if this is just some talk going around again??? I think that after reading some of this thread a specific posts that its not the later of the two
  10. cheers for the info will look into.
  11. DO you have a standard front bar or aftermarket??? Have you decided on how you are going to route your piping as you ahve a couple of different options for the R32.
  12. Geez man i dont know, talkin to ya on the net is one thing but in person  Of course you can man, where not going to bight ( and if we do it wont be hard :innocent: ) Come over and give us a BIG :cuddle: well maybe not a :cuddle: but will be good to talk to a few of you guys in the flesh and not as keyboard warriors :Pimp2:
  13. BWAHAHAHHA i wish i had a 44psi daily driver. Imagine going to work on over 2bar of boost :Pimp2:
  14. ok so when i imported my car it came with a locked diff (and is still in there) i only notice it when im cornering at all and clutching does not affect it. Not 100% sure what type it is but will find out asap (as i want to know) what are the advantages and disadvantages of a locked diff for daily driving???
  15. Anyone at all got an exhaust from autobahn or eqivilant???
  16. can you explain/back that up please??? bit  thats all.
  17. Well it sounds like it, maybe better off trying ns.com :uh-huh:  All my lines are brand new, no cracks or splits and they are all silicon hoses (conventional black) and i didn't pay what your asking, i know that colour is going to be more but as i said before, "SHOW B4 GO for me champ" :Pimp2:
  18. Be very interesting to see how this one turns out, but if it does appear that there doing the dodgy with there cats and they are not passing an epa test then they will have a lot to answer to than the very angry and pissed off customers, they will be the least of there problems
  19. YEAH unfortantley there not the best thing although after talking to a couple of people today that recon that they have improved but are still vunerable to a good car theif. Get a good alarm with additional in cabin screamer and battery back up for the siren, park in well lit areas when possible and dont go around publically showing what you ahve under your hood or in ya car for starters :chairshot Asking for trouble doing that. Good luck with it all though
  20. If you buy a new HU then you will need to get the antenna adapter plug as well. CHECK:http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=60275 There about $10 and straight plug and play item. PM Chris Rogers if you need one
  21. BWAHAHAHAHA yeah i recon it would be pretty hard with the right foot to control. its hard enough in my car let alone something like that. Im sure when its on the road we will see it around. You going to DriftMania nathan???
  22. Go B4 SHOW dude for me im affraid. BUt if you can tell me why these would be better than your conventional hose then im in???
  23. yeah very sweet install there. You must have a really nice mate to help you out with that one :Pimp2: (AXON)
