I dont disagree with you at all GTRgeoff as like any car you can add on, take off and do anything that your budget permitts.
But when your talking about a cheap car, auto's are never that i know been cheaper to set up than a manual car for any type of racing, drifting, or the occassional club day thrash.
You say that you can add the kit, replace the cooler with another one, boost controller and fuel adjuster (which are all good price's in GB) but think of how much more money that you have just spent upgrading everything and you haven't even driven the car yet.
I imported my car and i know alot of car's (mainly R32's) that people have got from Japan with all the bells and whistles on the road for under 10K.
Drive it/trailor it to the track and throw some tyres on and thats all you need to do, no other pricey mods. Just my 2 cents but if our buying a car cause its cheap but then have to spend alot of money on it so you can do what you want, that cheap car doesn't sound so cheap to me anymore!!!!
