  1. Would be good if ya can
  2. Thats a nice bit of photo shop there The Mafia  Just kidding mate. Those figures are pretty empressive your getting there, you would have to be happy with the stock internals and turbo producing that much. Do you have a 1/4 mile time with those figures at all???
  3. Well it sounds like to me they did a dodgy. A connection that has been soldered properlly shouldn't break in 24 hours under normal conditions. And to charge you $80 is EXTREMLY STEEP in my book as it would of taken about 5 mins to do. I would be letting them know it didn't last 24 hours and that you not happy. I once had a grounding issue with my old HU and i took it in to get looked at as i thought it was originally the internal fuse. They fixed the grounding problem and it cost me $10 which is what it should of been for you.
  4. Still got the gauges and can send pics to [email protected]
  5. Yeah sounds a little suss to me as well. Give us a bit more info and that way we might be able to help you out. If it is an earthing problem with the HU then it would most likely be cheaper to buy a new HU these days as they are now a reasonable price for what you have existing already.
  6. Either that or a bit or rubber the right size (2mm) around the shifter and attach to that. You will find that has some of the best results.
  7. ANyone know where i might be able to find something like this at all???
  8. Yep, and you will find that people will still go for the name brand as theats all they know. You wouldnt go out and buy a Mini Moke just cause some told you too
  9. I have a Pioneer P5750 HU and for the money you can't go past it. 3 pre outs, sub control with variable frequency. MP3/WMA playback functions and i have no problem with it dimming on big bass, this mainly caused by drop in volts due to a small battery anyway. But as CerealKiller said dont look past the JVC either. Good HU's with plenty of strong features and a competitive price to mach. The Apline being a good HU but your paying for a name really. At the end of the day its what you like and suits your needs not the recommendation of somebody else
  10. Couldn't agree more with you there Duncan, the ram pod should be one of the first things that people replace on there car when they first import it. Clean the AFM completly and then maybe look into using a non oil based filter from there. The Uni filter products are great and the contrstuction is top notch, if your in the market for a new filter guys take advantage of this buy as its a good price and a good product :headspin:
  11. Finished bulding my tubes, i'll post up a couple of pics and show ya. Now to test them
  12. Not looking at drifting it at all, just a daily driver. But thanks for the heads up and hope ya dont mind me using your car as a example. A very nice, neat and clean example it is
  13. Yes after prolonged use it will go into the AFM but nothing a little contact cleaner and a steady hand can't fix. Dont want to kill the post but i have done signifigane dyno testing with air box's and found that a partition box with the air still accessible from the top is better than a completley enclose pod. The new Apexi filter is a non oil based filter and uses surrounding air from all area's. The Unifilter are a great product and i have used one in the past and the kit price is very well priced. But can i ask one question, why dont all you people who want a box make you own? It takes about 30 mins and cost ya about $20
  14. Cheers for the info, i'll see if he can help me out with it
  15. Get ths pics up then and show's the best, how'd ya go with the parts you were after?
  16. You make is sound so simply
  17. Yeah mate pity you didn't post it up a little earlier, i ahve thought long and hard about the limited boot space and the tube style sub box just seems to be the best option for me. Let us know how ya go with your boot install and when i get some free time and get my act together i'll let ya know how i go. By the way your car looks extremly familar i think i still ahve pics of it actually on my computer somewhere? Send me a PM with ya email mate and i'll send em your way if ya like?
  18. Ok i hope the owner doesn't mind me using his pic, but these are the wheels that i was thinking about (or something similar) so if anyone has any other pics of info pass it my way??? Much appreciated GMB
  19. To a degree yes but then the biggest problem you have with the difference in ambient temp is the way that you have your car tuned for normal day to day driving. One of my mates has a stock R32 that runs like a dream on a colder night and his older brother who's car is slightly moded runs worst on a cold night. When it comes to stock boost and stock turbo i would stay at 10 mayb 12 psi but not for long periods of time and not for daily driving.
  20. Mate, me still thinks yours would win contests for sure (not going to say which ones though  ) And yeah your right champ, Eurovox is all ar.... SORRY my BAD. You said class didn't you :headspin:
  21. Sounds like a pretty sweet set up you going to put in, two thumbs up for the pics and tute, sounds like a good idea there. Help noob's out as you say
