  1. Updates for me: modified my drivers seat runner so its lower (i can now sit in the car with a helmet on) and have "fixed" it in place so no other kent can get in and move it MUWAHAHAHAHA I got my manifold, turbo, dump, gate, lines off, fixed a partially stripped stud i missed and got it all back on the car again today Some of my gear arrived today so im now hoping the weather will be ok for the next few days as the car is moving to its new location next week to be finished and a few "other" little touches
  2. Is there anyone out there that are modding the 26 PFC to suit RB20 as a straight plug and tune application and if so who are they and could i get some costs??? Cheers Ben
  3. yeah tyres dont last long when your having some fun with these things, probably one of the only downsides really. I ran mine of a couple of karting tracks here and also took it around Baskerville (full race track) for a bit of fun as well. It did see the "occasional" street use but was always out of well established housing areas so we didn't annoy anyone Gixxer kart is cool, my first shifter kart was powered by an 02 gixxer 1k motor which i sold so i could build the 848 (V-twin FTW ) I'll try and dig out some pics to post up
  4. Still chasing a plug ppl, need one ASAP
  5. Pretty sure standard should read 1.1-1.3 Andrew What exactly is the problem your having and have to diagnosed it back to the ignition system??? Looking at that plug you wouldn't be getting a great connection which will/can cause problems so i would change that ASAP and check all your others
  6. exactly. The only real reason everyone gets after market coils is because of the ridiculous price for OEM items. My OEM coils lasted well over 16+years until they started to break down
  7. yeah there is a difference between an 80k car and a 430 but factor in that they have 2-3 80k cars sitting in there drive it adds up!!! Yes he's local, he has a partner and is happy so have to find someone else to be there love child
  8. There's already a spotted thread pinned at the top mate As for the car seen it a few times and spoken to the owner, nice guy and has a very extensive car collection As for "who can afford a 430" you should open your eyes a little more when out and about cause there are some very RICH people with nice rides. EG: a certain Doctor takes ownership of his R8 next week, there are 2 "genuine" Shelby Cobra 427's (one of the owners also has a 67 fast back) the amount of Audi, Porsche, Merc, BMW's etc that are getting around and we are talking 80K+ cars. There is more money in Hobart than you would think

    Fuel

Its pretty much readily available state wide so you shouldn't have any drama's Nick
  10. Passed on details to my mate who's searching for similar rims OT: how's the repairs going from Basky Clint??? You know there are easy ways to roast marsh mellows
  11. Coil pack sorted
  12. Injectors & pump sorted Still after Z32 plug
  13. Im after a Z32 plug in good condition and a good condition set of either GTR injectors or 550's and an 040 Let me know what you have Cheers Ben
  14. Yeah i was only dealing with the local Autobarn here in Tassie and they are all 17year old Excel drivers that work there I have a L2 10cm for sale
  15. Just checked and i only have a lid, sorry old boy.
  16. dont say that cause i have HKS cams in mine now
  17. Is that an Australian Trust catalogue Wheezy cause all the ones i've looked at online don't list the smallest (Type S) which is a 34mm, then there are Type R and C which are 47mm. I've just been using the GReddy US site so maybe its different??? I just ordered a new spring and gaskets from Japan as everyone i spoke to in Oz (including Autobarn) said they couldn't help me I still cant believe the numbers Trent was able to get out of your set with only 1.2bar and no cams/cam gears, i was only aiming for 240ish with my set up
  18. Also considering the weather in in Japan i would also not go over a 7 but again unless there is something your tuner knows hence the recommendation
  19. As posted by NYTSKY most users of this forum run the standard cobber plug but different heat ranges. I personally use a race plug and set my plugs up different (wont go into detail on the forum at the moment as its a race secret) but we have back to back dyno runs with just a plug change that shows an increase in power through the rev range in the race car If your tuner recommends those plugs ask him why and what are the benefits/gains in doing so
  20. Different strokes for different folks really and like already stated the fitment of the kit isn't really the best which lets it down a little as well. I've had a kitted 32 and a stock 32 before and my current one will not have a kit, its lowered will be wearing 34 GTR rims and stay with the type M front, skirts and rear but maybe pods???
  21. Thats right, if you go too quickly or too much in one hit it will warp/buckle. Just make sure you have a bucket of cold water and rags there to help cool the area whilst welding. $250 is about the most you would want to pay to have it done and even that is pushing it considering what is involved
  22. Damo im pretty sure i have a reservoir in my bits but not sure if its a 32 or 33 one. Will check in the morning and let u know, if its a 33 one you can have it
  23. Looks great PLYNX but like the others said get some ducting into it mate
  24. Looks pretty cool Russell, i used to have a shifter kart with a ducati 848 motor - V-twin FTW Its an interesting set up, i take it the motor is a pre 98 750 motor???
  25. Any pics Clint, where abouts are you located???
