  3. yeah but im not a dodgy milkshake am i Josh, besides if you go the trouble of pulling the radiator out its not much more effort to get the correct bolt
  4. Thats the one i need, how much did you want for it??? All good thanks Ardie if i cant get a stock 20 one for the right price i will bend up my own next week Cheers Ben
  5. If its got the clip and a little wiring consider it mine Ah he's after the glovebox if you still have it???
  6. Well you couldn't of asked for a better day weather wise other than a little more shade. Was a fantastic days racing with some great battles throughout the day within all the fields. Overall i thought the day went well but there was a little too much downtime throughout the day and i would of liked to of seen more crammed in for the spectators (i know its hard time wise with running the event) as there was a period there for about 35mins that nothing was happening on the track. The old man ran well improving his lap times in the EH over the 2 days and battled through with gearbox problems. It was also great to be able to take the car around in grid parade and give it a little run whilst doing so Standouts for me were PJ's efforts to entertain the crowd whilst having some fun in the black beast yesterday arvo, Pat Reid getting the torrie back on the track (it was a shame he couldn't get the other car there for the 2 wheel demo the boys getting the Fiat back on the track yesterday after being cleaned up on the start line Saturday and causing some extensive damage, HUGE EFFORT guys, Banks having all guns blazing after getting over the gearbox trouble Saturday morning, checking out the set up on Lawson's 200 under the hood and much more. Congrats to all the winners, it was some of the best racing i've seen in a while here in Tassie Kudos to HSCC and all involved in organising/running the day and to all the people that came along with static displays and some of Tassie's racing history, it was great to see it all there. Looking forward to being able to take my grandkids to the 100th anniversary of Basky and the rest of the racing for this year. Cheers GMB
  7. Do you still have the front cut Todd and if so does it have the LHS indicator wiring??? Griffo is after a glovebox, i passed on your number so he can call you about it
  8. So anyone with updates from todays antics???
  9. Car looks the goods Todd, good luck with the sale/swap im sure the new owner wont be disappointed I painted my motor similar (black) but thinking of changing it now due to a couple of scratches
  10. Car now running, just needs tidy up for roadworthy/rego then fit gauges, cams, injectors, PFC and tune
  11. I think you have miss read what he wrote Greg??? The way i read it he is saying you dont need a to take your car to have a full transport inspection just the RWC which is what our AIS is and can be done at any certified station like already mentioned. The $8 change over fee i assume is part of what you pay Service Tas along with stamp duty and rego fees etc but i have never heard of that either All in all he has explained the exact samething that you and i have just worded differently
  12. Looks like some more quality work by Griffo, i really need to get my seats to him to show them some love
  13. Alex the bar doesn't look that bad, you could either fill it yourself and flick it with paint or have someone else do it either way it wouldn't/shouldn't cost much. You should be able to track down another light in the 4 sale section from someone else that has upgraded or wrecking already or plastic weld original bracket or make your own custom bracket. Either way should be able to fix the damage so you can still use your light. From the pics its a little hard to tell but it doesn't look all that bad and the rad support looks ok so damage wise you wouldn't be looking at more than a few hundred
  14. Ray give Matt at ABS Hobart a call, he will fix you up with an AIS inspection for rego changeover
  15. Blame MST for that Looking forward to this, the EH will be out there with the new brake set up and fixed gearbox
  16. You and me both, i think it will do very well around there test track when the time comes
  17. You tried Repco cobber they usual stock them???
  18. SO i take it that someone from Chrysler sketched that
  19. Im with you Roy, great vid and interesting result but i would prefer the Porsche sitting in my drive over the R35 anyday
  20. Couldn't agree more, they set the bar so high with the R34 its going to take a bit to beat it with the R35. I for one hope they do it and set the bar even higher again
  21. BUMP this is still for sale or would consider swaps. Car is 99% complete and about 1-2hours from running, once running extra parts to be fitted and then tuned Cheers Ben
  22. Only need radiator drain bolt and stock cross over cobber, both of which you wouldn't be too keen on separating
  23. Power cruise pics
  24. Sounds like batt flattery old kid Also check the wiring from your starter motor as well, people sometimes overlook the smallest of things trying to finish. Worst case scenario if you hook another battery up and its still happening, pull the starter out and bench test it to rule it out
  25. Going to remove the starter motor and bench test it to make 100% sure its ok then just go over all the wiring again. I will be calling on Pimping Kustoms to do my gauges though
