  1. That and it makes it easier for fault finding and limited room. You can always make your own pack and wire them individually
  2. Piping sold, rest still available.
  3. Looks like its progressing well Dave, what engineer are you using and what motor did you decide to use???
  4. Pretty much on the right track cobber but make sure you use large ceramic 10W 10 ohm resistors. Thats all the resistor pack is but its bundled into one with one clip but this way it costs you $10 instead of $100+ Im pretty sure Damo was going to do the same thing with his GTR injectors so maybe talk to him, he can steer you in the right direction with electrical knowledge. If you were in Hobart i would give you hand Its not all that hard though, there is a thread in the DIY section as well written by Troy, pretty much step by step so even a bloke yourself should be able to follow it
  5. Dont want to make your own, only cost you about $10???
  6. Shan the private eye is on the case. Welcome to the forum noob
  7. I sold my GTR injectors and bought 550's instead, all up cost me another $200 but dont have to worry about any wiring, they are brand new with warranty. Sounds like your car is coming along pretty well Damo, much left to go before its running??? UPDATE FOR ME: gauges arrived the other week (started to remove old ones) manifold is back on (didn't end up heat wrapping it though) replaced my harmonic balancer as it had a small crack in the lip, started prepping my rotor/hubs for a quick flick of paint and continued tidying the birds nest in the center console.
  8. Ben i'll take a few pics and put them up
  9. Yeah will got onto it ASAP, there is a fair bit coming up over the next few months but im sure we can squeeze a "quick" cruise in somewhere
  10. Sounds like you got it, but make sure you use 2 nuts not one
  11. No longer required but thanks for letting me know
  12. PM sent
  13. its not quite that simple. You will have to do a few things first (if they are not already done) but nice and easy under the 15year rule. Bare minimum is: VIN stamped onto firewall (obviously matching paperwork) drivers side mirror glass changed seatbelts (either new fitted or Jap ones passed by engineer) for the price of new belts you are better off IMO to replace them with new ones. UNLEADED Fuel only sticker along with a few other things good rubber and a general roadworthy car. Main things people fail on with AIS are indicators/lights not working and electric windows not operating correctly. Then its paper work to Service Tas and pay your rego (make sure you take a receipt for purchase of vehicle) and get your plates
  14. I wasn't having ago i was simply stating if you can get brand new injectors with warranty for that price you would be silly to buy 2nd hand these days as people want what they paid new or used (have a look in the classifieds section) I have far from a sh!t load of money to throw around and too have been looking for injectors for the past few weeks (new or almost new/purchased never used) and i can tell you now what is out there people want more than what i just order mine new for and try and screw you on delivery
  15. DAMN thats tempting Im sure if you ask him nicely enough he will post it to you...
  16. Wog stop your moaning and get back to work. If i saw you in the street id give you a serve as well just for driving a R33 On a lighter note we need to catch up for a beer... So i can slap you for selling the bike!!!
  17. Injectors needed ASAP...
  18. Left side back end (firewall) of the block.
  19. Its not really common practice to do so, especially if he did the engine change himself. Does the AC control turn on and if so have you tried to run a diagnostic???
  20. Ordered the last few things i need to finish the car, got motivated today (hottest freaking day ever) and got through a fair bit. Just need to order my injectors, get seat fix up and drop everything in ready for a tune. Im hoping to have it running before the end of next month
  21. 4 or 5 speed Skip???
  22. If you can get a full set for $700 then why waist time with a WTB thread For what you can buy them new for these days you would be silly to pay what people want second hand for them
  23. Whats in it for me???
