Ryan "technically" you have 3months to change your rego over to Tasmania plates BUT they have to prove that you have been here longer than 3months and its your permanent address. There are a number of people that have gone 6-12months before being picked up for it so i wouldn't stress too much about that. If you were to change it over then you would have to your car AIS (inspected) and passed off as road worthy (wont happy with the screamer) and then pay for your rego and plates, its a pretty simply process and even easier if you find someone that can look after you with the inspection Police are no where near as harsh as Vic or other states, if you are not doing anything to draw attention to yourself or being a "hoon" you shouldn't have any problems at all. My car runs external gate/screamer and was a daily (hasn't been on the road for a while ) and never had any real drama's with it... As for track days there is always something happening on one of the tracks here: Symmons is about 15mins from Launie and Baskerville is 20mins from Hobart CBD. In regards to tuning there are peeps that can help you in the north or south so i wouldn't rush too much to get it finished. There will be another SAU cruise in the coming months so hopefully you can make it along and catch up with the Tassie members Cheers GMB

Damper's dont do dick other than take up space under the bonnet. Get the new mounts and your problem will be solved

I changed to NISMO mounts all around. What you have to remember is the stock ones in there (assuming they haven't been changed before) are now 15+ years old and have seen a fair bit of action in that time. Buy new ones, put them in and notice the difference, you wont be disappointed

Needs: starter motor PS pump alternator and belts bolted up radiator and hoses clutch fan and belt manifold/turbo/lines/gate FMIC bolted back on and piping done fuel lines changed wiring to tidy up and ignition barrel put back in rotors and calipers pretty much it to get it running as is but obviously has some general tidy up things to do. Parts i have: 550cc injectors Z32 (waiting on Dr Drift to send plug) HKS 260 cams PFC BRIDE seat and rails (passenger) NISMO gear knob GKTech dished wheel and boss exhaust wrap and clamps turbo heat shield AGR heat proof wiring covers Im sure there is other stuff but i cant think off the top of my head Cheers GMB

Car looks great Leigh, im looking forward to seeing it out amongst the other boy racers in the TSS Updates for me: Picked up my new belts, fuel filter and injectors are all clean and tagged ready to go in

As Bad Hair said the 25DE box is the same as a 20DET not 25DET. If someone is telling you that the DE box is as strong as the DET walk away. Everything will bolt up not a problem but remember that once you start doing mods (if your planning on it) then the drivetrain wont take too much abuse before it lets go
