There are a few sellers that stock Walbro pumps and they are around the same price of the 040 (depends on where you buy from) although you can get cheap Walbro pumps on EBay

The 040 would be fine for the power level you want to achieve or you could get the 023 (same size as 040 and still direct intank replacement) but they flow more. Im against what TO4GTR said about the 040 cause i've had nothing but problems with the 3 brand new Walbro's i've had in 2 different cars but thats just my opinion. At the end of the day its your choice what you go with but the 040/023 is fine for the power level your seeking and i think the part number for the Walbro equivalent is the 341 GMB
