It really comes down to a few things: personal preferance or size budget and how readily available are tyres. I run 17" Drift Teks on the front and rear but i also have R32 GTR 16" for the rear. Tyre price is what really makes the difference for me though. Just make sure that you run the same size rims on the rear at the same time and the same brand/make/profile tyre Cheers GMB

Boost wise i wouldn't be looking to run more than 1.2/3bar but seeing as the car is a daily driver it would only be about a bar. It would be tuned on BP Ulitimate 98. As for dropping the compression ratio i take it you mean with a metal head gasket Roy??? Cheers GMB

I'd love to go a 2.4 stroker but the costs involved just dont really warrant the outlay. If i was going to spend that much i would go with the 25 as a starting point instead!!! PLUS i cant find anyone that stock/sell a 2.4 kit or info on what exactly is involved (general knowledge but not 100%) so that was another reason why i wasn't leaning towards the 2.4 Cheers GMB

Jason it really depends on what you are looking for, EBC or manual boost controller. Are you just after a immobiliser or immobiliser and alarm??? I gather you would want the alarm/immobiliser to coincide with the turbo time (this limits your options somewhat) and are you looking at doing the install yourself or professionally done??? Does the alarm/immoboliser have to meet AUS standards for insurance??? If you can give a little more info, can answer your questions Cheers GMB

Ok so my RB20 went pop due to blow by shortly after i finished having it tuned. Now im stuck in two mind sets at the moment, ai was going to build a RB25 HYBRID but i want to get out of this for a little less that what that would cost me. So i was thinking of just rebuilding the 20 with forgies or looking into a 23/24 kit for it. I haven't had much luck on finding a 23/24 kit in Australia at all and i realise that i would just have to source the parts myself. Becuase of this im steering more towards the forged 20 with my current running gear and a few extra's. My current set up was as follows: Rb20 stock TD-06 20g high mount custom 3.25" dump into standard cat back GReddy external gate Turbotech boost control (14psi) stock injectors (did have additional injector in intake plenum) and stock AFM it was making just over 203rwk's on 14psi Now i know that everyone will just say buy another 20 and stick in it, they are cheap and you get warranty. Well that is true but we are building this up as one of our promo cars and want it to be able to handle the punishment its going to cop Any suggestions would be much appreactiated as well as best place to go through for a rebuild kit. Who did your tune, what managment system are you running and are you sure they are at 100% duty cycle??? It maybe worth looking at new injectors through a sponsor when you factor in 2nd hand GTRs then having to pay to get them flow tested and or repaired. Depending on other supporting mods and if you have future mods, if you are going to upgrade now it maybe worth going larger so you dont have to later on down the track. Just borrow one cobber (you can borrow mine) to check and make sure. That way if it is a dicky spring or ball bearing then you will know without spending another $30. There are so many out there and some are running big numbers without spiking or dropping boost so who knows.

Its strange mate you must have the only Turbotech valve that hasnt worked I was running 1.5bar with no problems at all and never sawy any spike (its actually very hard for these to spike cause there a nuamatic valve, not a bleed valve) so unless you crimped a pipe or something with it, or the spring and or ball bearing was knackered i dont know. GIZMO are the goods go and talk to Steve @ Autobarn, tell him i sent ya in and to use his sharpest pencil The Jaycar ones are goood on a budget but there isnt that much more you can do with that compared to the GIZMO, i haven't heard anything of the new HYBRID EBC but im always worried about stuff that comes from HK as you never really know if you buying legit or a copy

Just buy a GIZMO cobber, you cant go past them for the price if your wanting a cheaper EBC. What is the manual valve you have at the moment???

Braided lines are a must for upgrade. I agree with toff on this one there doesn't seem much point to upgrade brakes on a stock 32 and before you jump up and down and say that it wont be stock for much longer the standard brakes would be fine unless your are thinking of circuit work or drift!!!

As it is you could use not a problem, its just rips/tears in the fabric and chunks of foam missing in a couple of areas. Its probably the most comfortable seat i have ever owned and it kills me to sell it
