  1. You guys can make a weekend of it and see the DA/SD turn on a show @ Symmons Plains on the Saturday
  2. Yeah as Todd said if its not thick speaker wire then you can fit it through the grommet and keep everything tidy. You might need to soap up the cable to help it along a little. Its easier than taking the panels off and its not that hard to do, if your running signal and power wires make sure that they are congregated to stop any interferance (preferably down each side of the car) or one down the left side and the other down the tunnel. If you need a hand then there are plenty of people

  6. Hey guys and girls Just though i would let you know that DrifTas have organised to go out for dinner with Afro, Beau and Belinda from Drift Australia. Its a chance to have a chat to the guys away from the track and also a chance for them to get to see some of Tassie while they are here. It will be Sunday 13 August after the drift demo's @ Baskerville Raceway. I will be booking for 7PM and limited numbers so please let me know ASAP if your keen so i can put you on the confirmed list [email protected] Cheers GMB

    Oil Cooler

Poof Mobile has been and gone thank god
  12. I can see your point and it is valid but at the end of the day you cant see the wheels when your driving and they dont make the car go any better. Its purely cosmetic so i have never been a fan of spending big on wheels for my cars, but thats just me and my 2 cents. Dont get me wrong they do cap off a car (like Todd's) but i can think of better things to spend money on first. Todd the car looks great cobber, must make a big difference with the handling now!!! What have you got planned now for the beast seeing as your always doing something to it
  13. As Justin said, Fulcrum are the only Australian agent and they are VERY expensive. If you really want to keep the Teins then you have to weigh up your options: Shipping them to and from brisvegas. Repair costs (includes labour and parts) Overall price for repair VS new shocks. Like wogboy said he bought bilsteins (so did i) instead of getting others repaired, it not only worked out cheaper for me the car was set up better with them as the TEINS were just to hard for our road conditions and what i wanted to do. At the end of the day JB its upto you and if your willing to spend the money on them, if you are then send em off and get Fulcrum to do them, if you dont want to then maybe look at selling your 2nd hand to recover a little bit of money and buy something else Cheers GMB
  14. No problemo
  15. There is about 10 guys from up north competiting in the drift day so no doubt we will see a few spectators from up that way as well. I have had LOADS of people call/email and message me about spectating so hopefully we see another good turn out!!!
  16. Polo's have been picked up (still waiting on a couple though) please get intouch with me so you can organise to get yours. Launie boys did you want to wait till next weekend to grab them while your down??? For anyone that hasn't paid please pay asap (PM for bank details) as Bart and i are out of pocket. Cheers again to all for the support Gmb & Bart
  17. Thats all well and good but i wont to know HOW they got the 13.8kw increase. Were they able to advance the ignition due ot knock levels being lower than before, were the FPV's the turbo model and they increased boost (if so then other mods required) its all well and goood saying that they had a 13.8kw increase but i for one would like to know how they found the additional power and also some dyno charts overlapping there runs. As for the 43kms increase per tank full, again this can all come down to the tune. When i first had my car going i was lucky to see 2ks to 10L and it was an expensive car to fill (hence why i didn't drive it much) but after a tune i saw a remarkable difference with fuel economy (i actually had economy ) Before the old girl went pop i was about to get 100K's from about 8L driving normally to and from work. I was able to get 100K's from about 13-15L with gate ( mmmmmmmmmm gate) Obviously its going to make a HUGE difference with the extra RON and this will inturn let people tune there cars for more ignition and boost and if need be more fuel. Bring it on i say and its long overdue but i would still like to see there data from tehre testing. BP Ultimate isn't something new (it obvioulsy is to Tassie :eerm:) but its been around for a while on the mainland and i cant see that they would of changed anything to bring it to the Apple Isle. Cheers GMB
  18. Welcome to SAU
  19. Well for that price i think i will stick to the 95RON OR better still might just look at running the car on race fuel
  20. Sweet 16 at last Happy birthday darlin. Now you can sit at the big kids table at McDonalds (its ok we will let you use the high chair still so you can see) You would save money if you would stop making those midget porno's that you have to film/direct/star in
  21. OK It would be funny if it didn't come from a guy that is 20+ and can still get into the movies as a child. You can insult me when you are over 5'5" and not a second sooner wee man
  22. TT please post 4 SALE thread as per Forum rules. PM if you want to make it active again GMB
  23. thats what this thread is about dude. Rosie was informing us that it will be pumping on the 21st
  24. No problemo chief, normally everything is fine even though the cluster doesn't show that. But im the sorta bloke that likes to be safe then sorry I've got a NISMO dash if the stock one you get from Damo still doesn't work
  25. Todd ever single 32 i have had i have found that the standard cluster's have never been that flash for the oil pressure or temp gauges. If your worried about it i would be hooking up an AM oil pressure gauge to double check. Better safe then sorry and i have a spare one kicking around if you want to borrow it GMB
