  1. Hey guys, just a quick one - I got a Turbosmart boost controller from Kezza on here, xept it doesn't seem to work. I'm no looking for another and found this HDI Dual stage..... Anyone know whether these ones are any good?

  5. Mate I got a couple of rear GTR struts sitting in the cupboard. Everything there xept for the springs (using those on my 32) - just go to something like cheaper auto spares theyll have some that fit. PM me wit an offer and their yours
  6. Hey guys, got a boost controller the other week but doestn work. So I'm in the market for a new one. Don't need anyof the wiring or anythin as I've already got it hooked up.

  10. I got my injectors cleaned etc the other day. Was by Mobile Injector Cleaners from South Brisbane (I'm in North Gold Coast). I took them out myself. Then a guy came to my door and cleaned them in his van in the driveway. All up cost $160-180 (cant remember exactly). Much better than the $340 I was quoted from Gavin Woods. They now work great!!!! Have a look around your area - through the yellowpages/ask mechanics/mates - find out who cleans 'em. Then take em out yourself and save a bucketload of money! Hope that helps

  12. I take it you just bought your car? You have a powerFC or something? I'd say probably go to a workshop or tuner and get them to have a look. I agree with shortie with the AVCR reading in BAR, that sounds more correct. And if that right and you only got stock turboes you may need to tone it down a little. You have any local mates who can have a look at your car and tell you a bit more bout it? May be a good idea
  13. The calcs are near perfect.... but that sounds very strange? Sure its only 1.8?? mmhg??
  14. Ya get a new bigger better one!!!! I had this problem - my car was broke for days while I tried to figure out what was wrong. We pulled the pump and replaced with a 550. Now is great! O, if you do get a bigger one don't forget an FPR or computer will be in order after a while.
  15. My mate a problem with his windows in the same manner. He went and spent >$100 on fixing it a some shop (can't remember which). Then it still didn't work. I recommend have a look at finding whats wrong (wiring etc) and first try fix it yourself with that DIY thread.

  17. Sorry for the late reply. Sent ya a pm strik3r. Havent actually got the knock working yet. I connected to knock 2 wire atm and not working - gonna change over to knock 1 and will repost.

  19. Ok, I've been trying to figure why I can sometimes smell fuel in my car. At first I thought it may have been the a/c - I tested this by turning the a/c on and seeing what hapnd. And yes. there was the smell I then tested the a/c using recycled air. No smell. From this I deduced the smell is coming from either the a/c lines, or somewhere else in the engine (as the a/c pulls in air from the back of the engine bay?) So I went and looked through the a/c lines (the a/c is the cylinder at the front left side of engine bay). All lines are good. I've double check all fuel lines - no leak/holes etc. Injectors also got replaced recently. Having no idea what is wrong, I've continued driving the car. I've now noticed a couple of things (I may be imagining some tho ) 1. Smell seems to be more usual when i have a full tank? 2. " " " " " " " " when i use the a/c (not with recycle) 3. In the morning on the way to work - no smell. On the way back - some smell. If going somewhere that evening after work - smell. - possibly fuel getting caught somewhere after idling/switch-off? Ok, now the ticking. I'm getting a fast tick from the engine. I can hear it outside the car (bonnet closed). I'm thinking its the turbo gasket - good assumption? Could these be related? I think highly unlikely as fuel doesnt go in the turbo manifold etc?
  20. Thanks to all for the help! Bought a SAFC2 for $300. Got tuned and dyno'd by Matt Spry on the Coast. 183 rw at 11 psi. I'm quite happy with that with my current setup.

Got dyno'd last week from Matt Spry at 183 rw at 11 psi. I'm quite happy with that with my current setup.

    Must say I kinda agree with Chris. It's one of the only times I wish I lived in either of those stupids states South of us - the sexpos down there are so much better!!! ours is all restricted and sh**
