    Avgas

They also sell a variety of race fuels at the track itself.
  2. The Datsun has developed a problem with the fuel system that I'm still trying to sort out and find, but I'm having no luck and its a pain in the ass by not being able to drive it anywhere to be looked at. So I will take the cover off the GT-R and bring that up for a run, its just been freshly serviced and dynoed with a larger fuel pump fitted to it and is ready to go!
  3. I'm caught up with Group A fever at the moment, so my choice of three would be: R32 GT-R: Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500: HSV VL Walkinshaw: All with mild mods done to them (suspension, brake, intake/exhaust mods etc), would suit me fine. Bit plain compared to some of the other cars listed here, but right now I'd be more than happy to have all three sitting next to each other in the garage. At least I own one, so thats only two I have to dream about
  4. Car is still in the workshop, ran into a couple of problems whilst getting it serviced. Hopefully it is done in time.
  5. lol the datto will throw a few flames down as well. Depends whether its a quick shower or decent rain, if its only real light they should be able to dry the track, however if it gets too wet they will obviously cancel it.
  6. I'll probably enter, just trying to get the GT-R serviced in time, should be right.
  7. For what its worth, Supercheap Auto have metal bracket 1kg extinguishers on special at the moment for $19.95, runs until May 27 I think (I'll check next time I am working there).
  8. I had the same problem, in a lot of the battle events I would have placed in the top 8 or higher if I didn't hit the cones Doesn't really bother me cos I had a great time out there, and was happy with how I went for my first deca, at least the GT-Rs put on a strong show against those Evo's

    Deca Review

I had a great time competing in my first DECA event, big thanks to all the organisers and volunteers on the day who made the event run really well. I gave the GT-R a bit of a hard time practising my 8000rpm launches, but it didn't have any probs, I'm surprised at the amount of abuse it can take. Can't wait for the next one, look forward to the vids/pics...

    Ztuned R34?

Read in the Trading Post tonight that the owner has also taken delivery of an Aston Martin (DBR9?) GT Race Car too, not bad

  16. I got a card off him, it says the website is www.dcb-photo.com and the email address [email protected] and mobile 0416 026 252 Cheers
  17. Yeah I agree the last few DT sessions were a lot of fun getting out there and having a good run with each other whilst not doing anything stupid (except for me over doing it on the second last corner in one of the later sessions )
  18. Thanks for posting the pics
  19. Had a great day in the driver training sessions, I have to say a big thanks to Jack for showing me the lines and offering great advice during the first few DT sessions, I picked up heaps of info. Good to see heaps of quick cars out there and have a chat with a few of the guys from here, look forward to doing a few more of these events this year hopefully.
  20. Got the car ready on sunday, can't wait to get out there, little bit nervous even though I'm doing driver training lol.
  21. Very tempting... Bit of a newbie question, I know it says designed specifically for an R32 GT-R, but do you need to run them with spacers etc? I have coilovers on the car too fwiw.
  22. Faxed my entry off today and sorted out my instructor for driver training, looking forward to it.
  23. Oh ok, so they have the numbers ready to go on the sheet and you just stick it onto the car? Thanks
  24. I will be sending my form off tomorrow (express post). What do I regarding my competition number? It says enter preferred number on the entry form, but will they get back to me before the event with a number so that I have time to buy the appropriate stickers? And where can I get these numbers apart from revolution racegear? Thanks (and sorry again for the newbie questions)
