  1. Did you get any pics of the gunmetal R32 GT-R?
  2. Another vote for another event at Heathcote here, much more relaxing and laid back to race there compared to Calder...
  3. I think I'll bring my Datto to the next one, the GT-R was a bit boring to race after a few passes
  4. Thanks for posting the pics Allblitz, a couple of nice ones of my car there. Cheers
  5. Had a great time there today, the track was maybe a little off its best in my opinion, went a best of 12.3/114, just a bit off the PB for the car (R32 GT-R, Z1LLA plates). Lots of nice cars out there. Look forward to participating in a few more club events this year. Thanks to those who organised it. Was well run.
  6. checked it out last night, was worth the money just to see some of the hairstyles and clothes people wore hahaha
  7. went for number two, liked the racing picture and the SAU grill badge. Lots of great entries though.
  8. Hey mate I have raced at Heathcote heaps of times in my cars. You can run drag slicks on the rear and street tyres on the front with no problems up there. I've been doing this on my Datsun and its recently gone 11.6/119mph with slicks on the rear and street tyres on the front and it has been straight on the track with no problems at all, top end included. Depends how fast your car is going to go I guess. Heathcote Park owners have been on holidays the past week. Put the slicks on and enjoy the G-Forces
  9. started raining about 2mins after I got there, spewing. Massive turnout, lots of nice cars there.
  10. might head out to the meet up in my 1200
  11. Had mine out today at Heathcote, after a few runs managed to run a 12.2, details are: ET:12.254 MPH:114.53 60':1.721 Tyres: Yokohama AVS ES100 225/16-inch Nitrous: No Fuel: Mobil Synergy 8000 Nissan: R32 GTR Power: 248rwkw at 1bar Will scan time sheet if necessary.
  12. Yeah I had that slot car set, was a brock/mobil sierra and a dick johnson/shell one i think
  13. Yeah would have been a good race if we lined up again, I did a best of 11.6 in it that day. Thats a nice time you ran. Do you know what power the car makes? I was hoping for mine to go a bit quicker (I also had that gunmetal R32 GT-R) later on, but the RWD switch I had installed in the car played up and kept making the car go RWD on its own when I was running it after our final The turbo on the Datto is a GT35/40 or GT35R (700hp roller bearing). Great for the street
  14. yeah one will be held at heathcote later in the year, probably in the last quarter.
  15. nice pics, thanks for snapping my car (gunmetal r32 gtr) action shots are also up on www.fullboost.com.au
  16. congrats on winning one of the classes, I was in the Datto, tried to cut a quick light but was a little too quick running a red What mods have you done to yours? I saw it went 11.8, was that the best it had gone?
  17. Got my GT-R dynoed yesterday, made just under 250rwkw on 1 bar, looking forward to giving it a run, hopefully get into the low 12s. Cheers
  18. Got mine installed today, look forward to testing it on Saturday when I race it. Unfortunately there wasn't anywhere appropriate at 1pm to test it out today
  19. yes they are. Latest press release here: http://motorsport.com.au/news/nissandrag_21Mar06.htm For more info: www.ndsoc.com.au Thanks, should be a great day, going to race both of my cars!
  20. That was last year. With the move to Calder this year there should be more entries.
  21. Mine arrived today, thanks Paul Hopefully can get it fitted next week in time for the Nissan/Datsun Drag Challenge thats at Calder on the 25th. Cheers

    Fullboost Dvd

Its a great DVD, highly recommend it. The team behind it are great guys too...
  23. I will have to give that a shot next time. Thanks
  24. yeah I know, you would also get it with DYO to an extent (people backing off). I would have gone with DYO for an event that will have a lot of street cars, but when you get outvoted what can you do?
  25. Why so pissy? Because while I am a (committee) member of NDSOC, I'm also strongly considering joining SAU as well so that I can get more out of my GT-R with fellow Skyline nuts. I didn't realise there was some sort of rivalry between the clubs?? Unfortunately I can't read about the Heathcote day SAU are holding at the moment, but it does sound interesting. Snowman, if I were you I'd pick the 12-12.99 bracket, seeing as you are right on the edge, making it harder for other cars to beat you in that bracket (including me with my two cars ). Maybe you can try and dip into the 11s during practice, then during eliminations back off a little at the end to ensure you stay above 12.00. Its up to you however. R31 Nismoids last comment would be pretty accurate R31Nismoid, unfortunately no passenger runs as its at Calder Thank you
