i'm not sure if this is taking this thread off topic, but i have allways wondered.... and i hope our resident cop is reading this and can help if i am stationary at a set of traffic lights on a straight flat road with a speed limit of 80km/h and when the light turns green i accelerate away from the line with a fair bit if gusto, but during said acceleration i do not loose traction, i do not exceed the speed limit, and i stay fully within my own lane... is this considered hooning? and there for punishable under the hooning laws?

assuming you are talking about the driveshaft boots and not the steering rack boots! for the front drive shaft boots, there is an inner and and outer boot on each side! they are sold as a kit with boot, clamps and grease For R32 gts-4 outer kit # - 39241-05U25 inner kit # - 39741-05U25

i dont really care what alot of the "older" members on this forum have to say.. however i've done a bit of searching for yuou mate, and found this on vicroads website which you might find interesting for a way around not being able to drive the car.. 1. Automatic Exemption The Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 2009, automatically exempt a probationary driver, from the probationary prohibited vehicle restrictions, who is driving the vehicle in the course of his or her employment and at his or her employer’s request or is self employed and an Australian Business Number (ABN) is in force in relation to the person's business. No exemption document is required from VicRoads in these circumstances. However, the onus is on the driver to provide evidence to the police if requested. so start an "import" business, call it Joe Blows importing, hell even get a decal made up and stick it on the door of your car, register an abn... and you clearly require that import car to represent and help market your business! ... on that note, make sure everytime you are driving the car, its for business reasons! perhalps not ethical, maybe your too young and inexperienced to be driving a turbo car, and hell the other members on this forum had to do it hard in a csx corolla, so you should to LOL... just my 2c

why is everyone forgetting shannons? ive been with shannons since i was 19... had my s15 insured with them- it got stolen too, so i made a claim. then at 21 i had my r33 gts-t insured with them, still insured with them great rates, cheap excesses!
