  1. the jecs and bosch 555cc's are yellow ... very good injectors!
  2. ive got a set of 555cc bosch yellow sidefeeds, almost brand new (only 4000km's on them) perfect condition for $650 admitadly for $1000 (what they cost me new) that would make them less apealing then getting the std ones highflowed... I originally had highflowed injectors... had them tested and the spray patterns were terrible! wasnt going to put the engine at risk just for the sake of cheap injectors!

  10. i know cops have the authority to defect a car based on an observation of unroadworthiness and the right to report you to the EPA based on an observation of the car being below emmisions standards .... but i wonder if they have the right to order a vass engineers certificate!
  11. did you read "Cant because the actual whole chunk of where the thread is snapped off, so the whole thread is off. " sounds like its f&*ked anyways .. so thats why i suggested said method

  16. Not sure how much difference he makes doing this, but alot of Hypergear's "test" runs are done with the exhaust dropped, so not a true indicitive reading of how it would perform on a street driven vehicle

  21. if the exhaust manifold pressures are so high that the wastegate is being forced open.. you've got a massive restriction that you'd wanna do something about as you know a turbo makes boost 'virtually' exponentially, so the wastegate is a vent before the turbine wheel to relieve pressure to 'regulate' boost being made by the turbo, if you physically block (even partially) that 'vent hole' then it forces more air through the turbine wheel, if your already at the turbo's upper flow rate limits, then you can only imagine what stress this is putting on the turbo, not to mention unstable conditions like boost spiking, its not just the turbo that you have to worry about, excess boost, and air that cannot be exhausted will generate high exhaust manifold pressures, which generates high temps, which 'COULD' cause knock conditions and damage to rings, valves, manifolds etc
