dont worry man.. i hear ya.... after all im only 17 with an R33 and yes i worked my arse off at 2 jobs since i was 14 to get it .. lol nothing will ever change the fact that the minority allways wrecks it for the majority.... you just gotta live with it... people will call me stupid, but there are alot of guys on here who do this.... but i know my car is illegal to drive.. how ever i will still drive it on my P's, and if i cop the fine for being over power/weight i will take it on the chin, but thats just something that comes with the risk i am taking... however im not inclined to do extreamly stupid shit... i mean sure i enjoy my car, and why not i worked extreamly hard for it, but on the same note, im not going to waste years of hard working and saving and blow it all by showing off to my mates by being fully sick and trying to drift a corner or something like that. my theory.. you only live once... and i wanna live now.. not in 5+ years time (i mean that 100% metaphorically, not litterlally) lol -Ruffels

This is a very good point however unfortunatly when people are handed responsibility at the age of 18 (17 in most states) for the control of thier own vichicle without supervision, an outstanding amount decide to abuse this responsibility, and unfortunatly see it as a given rather then something that should be taken seriously.... it is then the minority of these who arnt so lucky with thier actions and end up on the 6'oclock news..... only they play it out like everyone who drives a high powered vichicle on thier p's is going to die..... if only they portrayed the thousands of p-platers who drive high powered vichicles safely and successfully from a - b every day on the evening news -Ruffels

hey guys , i did a bit more work on the boot install today.. i remounted my amp and carpeted the wall next is the perspex floor .... once i get that done i'll post another pic sure its no prfessional boot install.. but from someone who has no idea what they are doing then it isnt too bad -Ruffels

my turbo timer is allways set to "off" unless i purposely turn it on just before i turn the car off and the tt kicks in... in which case its usually 1 min -Ruffels

nothing but manual i agree with the comment above about being able to have more control over the car but also i think people who learn to drive manuals from square one are much better drivers then people with a steering lisence (read: auto) *runs and hides*

a few of my mates dads are policemen and ive had good old chats to them bout how they view things as police officers, as a change from the view of "skyline owners :P" lol i know i cannot judge the entire australian police force by talking to 2 single officers how ever the ones i have spoken with have shared stories about how they have used thier lights and sirens because they couldnt be "fagged" waiting in traffic, and other times when they have used thier police car to get back to the station quickly with thier hot fish and chips lol these are stories straight form the horses mouth, and i dont really agree with them, but it does happen, and it will continue to happen *note, this does not way entail the behaviour of every police officer, just personal annocdotes from 2 officers i have spoken with* -Ruffels

you should have flashed your neons on and off and pulled them over... go ack and sit in your car for 20 mins twidling your thumbs....told them to pop the hood... slapped a yellow sticker on thier windscreen.... given them fine for mobile phone... and driven off lol nah i think there are certain circumstances where thye are allowed to use hand held mobile devices for thier work but i mean come on.. even if they wernt allowed to.. how often do u see police get pulled over by other police lol -Ruffels

rinmak... i can answer this question Yes as i have the same boss kit and it alows hicas to work i bought another boss kit which did not let hicas work, and so i hd to purchase this exact one to resolve the issue -Ruffels

basically you just have to tighten up your aftermarket blow off valve.. or put a plate inbetween your stock blow off valve... or for that fact even remove it and just put a plateover the hole to stop it from being plumbed back or vented... that way the air will have no where to go and ... go back through your turbo and out your pod lol... this then making the flutter noise... there are huge debates as to whether or not this royally ****s your turbo.. its know that its not "good" for your turbo, but has been settled upon that on low boost it isnt ogin to wreck your turbo, just perhalps shorten its life. if you want a VL sounding flutter then you will probably want to get a front mount IC if you dont allready have one as it is said to enhance the flutter noise ive currently got my stock welded over blow off valve on my car at the moment so i get the flutter... but i usually just have my stock unwelded one on there... just felt like a bit of a change last week -Ruffels

Here Here i totally agree with you there pentae, i am 17 with an r33, i worked 2 jobs since i was 14 to afford my baby (read: car) , i sacrificed many a weeknight and almost every friday and saturday night by not going out and instead doing hard labour til early hours in the morning cooking at kfc and stacking shelves at coles to be able to afford my car.... sure its powerfull,, but im not going to abuse the power by either being totally stupid or showing off to my mates and throwing away many years of hard work and saving ,,,, it purely isnt worth it, and not what i bought a skyline for... /start rant: i am sick and tired of people stereotyping me because im young and i have a nice car... because mummy and daddy certainly didnt pay for this one /end rant -Ruffels

You'd be supprised mate theres allways plenty of decent skylines for sale... on that note there is also alot of crap on the market also... don't be too worried, your car is out there! -Ruffels
