  1. so basically they make it a grey area but at their disgression they can screw you, because to the letter any mod is illegal??? seriously that is engineering the law to have loop holes and to be inconsistent, no wonder there is so much confusion because they dont make a law and enforce it properly I know this is flogging a dead horse in a sense but is there not some truth there??
  2. 200 to 250 amp for most RBs was my understanding - cranking may nail em under 200 amp even - whats the compression in the rb26?
  3. nah would love to have a shot after bits n pieces on but its not gonna set the world on fire me dont suppose, good fun round corners too though and love da rb note!!
  4. who me not as much power as matt......got bits to go on for bout 185rwkw which should be fine, but it just feels a lil old (gbox) and power will only be going up, plus engine is heavy for chassis so keep an eye on weight cheers for info
  5. anyone know if the box is much heavier than the rb20? ratios be fine? am looking at the same thing when/if my one dies too

  8. yah...lol....he has more of an idea than Murray........i reckon Neil Crompton would be good if he was all into F1, not enough $$ in aussie F1 coverage/marketing etc i spose
  9. yes i agree with others comments about british biased and to be quite honest uninformative crap commentary (its sometimes good i suppose but still) and webber/williams starts.....one other factor is apparently low torque from the BMW compared to say the Renault to get it going from low road speed......not a justification but a complicating factor
  10. ok title shoulda been swaybar, dont know where the dam swaybay is maybe the boot
  11. i have cusco coil overs on my 180sx - is a little bit stiffer and more stable at high speed than my old mans r33 which has lowered springs and bilstein shocks, not sure if that helps they are great height and damper adj
  12. haha....ok... ive decided nissan dealer mechanics are like monkeys with spanners :chairshot , I guess they just do regular services on normal nissans took it back to Powerplay where its usually serviced, threw a set of splitfire coils on and a r34 gtr fuel pump and its pulling like it used to thanks for the help and persistence with the coils thing, oh and also new spark plugs for good measure
  13. all good, got the PM cheers
  14. hi all, The problem is the RB20DET oil sump is touching and rubbing the stock 180sx front swaybar, and I assume particularly under braking this isnt the best for the balance or in terms of wearing the sump. And I assume an aftermarket 180sx swaybar would be in the same position, and thicker to boot so am looking at how to fix it up. Either a slightly different shaped mid section on an aftermarket swaybar or an adapter/lengthener on an aftermarket swaybar for a 180sx (looking at whiteline) would be the ticket I suppose. Any ideas on the way to go about it would be great!! cheers :Pimp2:
  15. hi all, R33 S1 1994 65K km stock suspension (springs & shocks) for sale Sydney - lower north shore exchange preferred or freight at buyers expense $150 firm pls

  21. very very abnormal, its an imposter.... but seriously if it aids in the sealing of the rubber and doesnt melt its ok
  22. lol, Alonso is bloody talented but and deserves to be there, I dont think much could have been done about Kimis accident, the wheel may have come off even if he wasnt pushing by the end anyway and it didnt look fixable with a pit stop, its just a shame for him and mclaren Webber cant take a trick, slaughtered on first turn/start at Monaco then overcooks it and takes himself out on the first corner at nurburg
