no you dont have to do an alignment if you remove the driveshaft. unless youre an idiot and you undo the wrong parts which sounds quite possible with the people involved.

I was just about to say that N1! Whats the big fuss about having a N1 motor in your car? Just so you can say 'ive got a nur engine'? Id go with rebuilding your engine. No wasted money on freight etc etc and then you can get exactly what you want. Why buy a brand new engine only to pull it apart and add bits it doesnt have???....sure fit a restrictor and JUN pump as youve said... (yes head has to come off the put in the restrictor). Even if you left it as is the water pump may not be suitable if its a streeter....What a waste of time pulling apart your brand new engine. This all hardly makes any sense. :S If you can find an engine builder who actually knows what theyre doing, then it should be as good as the nissan factory engine if you like the sound of rebuilding to proper specs, or nissan specs or similar to...(I kno i do!)

Well considering its a 25T i would say hes bolted on another turbo and it blew the wheel off that one too...unless it has a twin turbo conversion.... I suggest you have someone who knows what theyre looking at to have a look for you. That seems the easiest way.

Yeah the factory guages are pieces of crap. Its just good to have the water temp on the HC rather than have to go out and buy a water temp guage...which i assume would be even wankier yes no? When my water hits 100+ degrees the stock gauge is in the same spot as if it were 80 deg so i find the HC useful. Most nissans ive driven hard do that tho...

doesnt the HC have the ability to display the actual engine temperature? electronicially ie very accurate?? and therefore not that wanky?

all sensors are the same shite but some will dissagree...if it fits itll work. i used ones for a ford in a 33 gtr engine not long ago lol. works perfect. traders on here sell them at a good rate...check them out.
